After the disappointment of last time out, when we had to miss the fixture due to low numbers.. the lads are finally BACK 💪🟠⚫️

It’s half term, and we’ve managed to pull a squad together. Massive credit to everyone who made themselves available 👏 The boys who are here are buzzing to get back on the pitch, put things right, and enjoy playing football again ⚽

Before that break, we put in a top performance, dominating a strong opponent and coming away with a well-earned win 💥 That’s the standard, and we’re looking to bring that same energy and quality again this week 👊🧡🖤

No football this weekend… but the MHS PSG boys still brought the energy 🎳🔥🧡🖤

With a well-earned break from the pitch, the team swapped boots for bowling shoes and hit the lanes for some quality team bonding. Safe to say… it was STRIKES all around (well… mostly 😅).

Plenty of pins knocked down, loads of laughs shared, and memories made that go beyond the game. Days like this are what team spirit is all about 🟠⚫️

Back to football on Monday, but for now, we’ll crown a few bowling champions… and maybe a few gutter ball specialists too 👀🎯🧡🖤

Managers’ Man of the Match: Sam S 👏

Another outstanding performance from Sam today, simply immense at the back. A total rock in defence, he dealt with everything thrown his way and showed real composure on the ball throughout. Calm, confident, and always in control… it’s easy to see why he’s earned the nickname “Samdini” after the great Maldini.

Sam has shown the levels he’s capable of, and this is exactly what we expect to see week in, week out. A top performance and a fully deserved recognition. 💪⚽

Parents’ Man of the Match: Jae G 👏

What a performance from Jae today, Jae was absolutely brilliant from start to finish. He set the tempo for the entire game, leading by example with his energy, work rate, and determination. Every time he was on the ball, he made something happen and gave everything for the team.

To top it off, Jae bagged a magnificent brace, showing real quality and composure in front of goal. A fully deserved award after an outstanding display once again.

The standards have now been set… this is the level. We’ll be expecting more of the same each week! 💪⚽

Full-Time: MHS PSG 2–0 South Falcons

A fantastic battle from start to finish, with both sides showing quality and determination throughout. It was an evenly matched contest for large spells, but the PSG lads just had that extra edge when it mattered most, making their chances count and seeing the game out professionally.

This is exactly the kind of response the managers were looking for after the last couple of weeks. The effort, attitude, and togetherness on display made it a performance to be proud of, and it’s great to see the hard work paying off.

Now it’s straight back to training and preparation as focus shifts to the next fixture. The aim is clear—build on this momentum and go again to try and pick up another 3 points. 💪⚽

Parents’ Man of the Match – Sam B 👏

A big congratulations to Sam who takes home the Parents’ Man of the Match award after a strong performance.

Sam worked tirelessly throughout the game, showing great effort, determination, and a real willingness to keep pushing for the team. His hard work paid off as he managed to get on the scoresheet and give us our goal on the day.

Manager’s Man of the Match – Eddie R-H 👏

A well deserved Manager’s Man of the Match award for Eddie after a hardworking performance. From the first whistle to the last, Eddie showed great determination, effort, and commitment for the team.

He battled throughout the game, worked tirelessly for his teammates, and never stopped putting in the effort even when things were tough. Performances like that don’t go unnoticed and he fully deserved the recognition.

A frustrating morning for the boys as we fall 3–1 to Team Oasis at full-time.

We started the game well and managed to take the lead, showing some great attacking play and positive energy. Unfortunately, a brief lapse in concentration allowed the opposition to find an equaliser and shift the momentum of the match.

The team continued to probe and create chances, showing plenty of determination and willingness to keep pushing forward. However, after going down to 10 men, it became much more difficult to stay in the game and ultimately the result didn’t go our way.

Despite the disappointment, there are positives to take and lessons to learn. It’s back to the training ground this week where the focus will be on working hard, improving, and preparing for the next match. We go again. 💪⚽
