Basil Mason Final 2026. Sam and Catherine survived a spirited comeback in the second set to clinch victory on a gloriously sunny afternoon. Winning 6-3, 7-5.

Our brilliant winter season in the Sussex county LTA league is now complete, after our men’s 1st team won 4-0 against the Weald at the weekend.

Here’s a summary. Things couldn’t have gone much better for men’s tennis at Hurst! 🏆🎾

Men’s 1’s - Promoted to Div 1
Men’s 2’s - Promoted to Div 3
Men’s 3’s - Promoted to Div 6
Men’s 4’s - Safe in Div 8

Now onwards to our summer season. With our renovated clubhouse and viewing deck almost complete we welcome spectators. A great summer of tennis ahead 😍

The countdown is on! Our Easter Tennis Camp is just one week away and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back on court for a week of fun, games, and tennis skills. 🐣🌼

Congratulations to our men’s 1st team, who finish the winter season as champions of Sussex County Division 2 🏆

We’re now up to the top Division 1 in both the Winter and Summer county leagues.

We won it easily too! Winning every match against our local rivals 🤩

Straight after Alcaraz and Djokovic battled it out , it was the turn of our Hurstpierpoint Tennis Club 8 & under team at West Worthing TC. Playing in their first ever matches , Woolfie, Jonty, Raegan, and Albie absolutely held their own against Preston, Hollingbury, and Horsham tennis clubs . Some super rallies and some nail biting deciding point tiebreaks at 9-all . Shot of the day was a Boris Becker style diving volley in the doubles from Woolfie 🤣🎾
