Huntly Amateur Swimming Club

HASC is small competive club and over the years has grown from strength to strength. Our coaches run various sessions throughout the week.

Come along keep fit have fun and make new friends along the way! A page set up for swimming club members, children and adults. Only swimming related messages will be replied to, this is not for personal use. All correspondence from this page is done by a PVG disclosed member of the swimming club who is also a child protection officer for HASC.

Our coach Lindsay was away competing in Glenrothes at the Swim IT Master's Competition.

Lindsay took part in the 100m freestyle and 200m freestyle, 100m breastroke and 100m IM and picked up 2 silver medals🥈🥈and 2 bronze medals.🥉🥉 👏

Very busy weekend for the club!

Huntly ASC had 8 swimmers travel to the sports village in Aberdeen for the Dyce long course meet.

Everyone had a great day and did their best well done to all the swimmers.

Thank you so much to Aberdeenshire Clubsport SCIO for awarding our club a grant of £231.60 to purchase 25 new pull bouys!

This is very much appreciated and will help all our swimmers with many drill practices to help improve their stroke techniques and will be put to great use!

Huge congratulations to our four swimmers
Lauren Sam Joshua and Holly who qualified for and competed at the UoAPS Open Meet this weekend! 💪

There were some fantastic swims, plenty of PBs and finals made.

Lauren made the 50m fly swimming 31.28 finishing 7th. 👏

Sam made the finals in
50m bk 33.69 finishing 7th.
50m breastroke 37.81 finishing 10th
100m bk 1.13.76 finishing 9th 👏

Joshua made the finals in
50m and 100m fc swimming 29.22 and 1.04.81 50m finishing 10th and 8th
100m fly swimming 31.90 and 1.11.16 finishing 5th in both 👏

Holly Kindness made the final in the 50m bk swimming 36.67 finishing 8th 👏

Fantastic swimming this weekend at the Broch graded meet.

We had a team of 14 swimmers and everyone swam amazing and set lot's of PBS.

For 8 of our younger swimmers this was their 1st time comepting in longer distances and swimming their 1st 100ms swims and even managed to pick up some medals! 👏 👏

A change of scenery for our coach Lindsay.

Instead of coaching poolside or at a gala supporting her athletes, Lindsay was down in Inverclyde competing in a masters swimming competition 👏

Coach Lindsay picked up 2 silvers and 1 gold medal well done!
