A slow start from The Ams saw them fall behind after 2mins. A free kick from the right hand side found Newmacher number 9 free in the middle of the box who finished well with his head.
The Ams immediately got themselves back into the game. Hayden Sim put the Macher centre half under pressure, Hayden read the pass back intercepted, slotting past the Macher keeper.
Murdo Reid put the Ams in front 10mins later, a throw down the right hand side was won by Glen McRae who out muscled the Macher centre half, Glen burst into the box before squaring to Murdo who finished at the second attempt.
Newmacher were reduced to 10 men on 23mins, Murdo getting the beating of the Macher centre half, as he went past the centre half through on goal he was taken down.

The Ams started the second half well, we just couldn’t get the better of the Newmacher defence or goalkeeper.
Newmacher would be the first to strike in the second half. Macher striker making a run down the right hand side before squaring across goal for his teammate to tap in.
The Ams were pushing for a winner, and the perfect opportunity would come on 79mins, a Lewis Paterson free kick over the top of the Macher defence found Murdo Reid as he controlled the ball, he was clipped from behind by the Macher captain.
Murdo stepped up to take the penalty, the Macher keeper saving with a strong hand down to his right, the ball fell to Murdo who made no mistake from the rebound.
The last ten minutes would see both teams still going for a goal. Newmacher thought they had equalised with 20secs left on the clock, they burst into the box and the striker slotted past Chez, only for Lewis Paterson to be their to clear with his right foot.
