My amazing one leisure classes had a collection for my birthday last month, with a note to treat myself to something nice ❤️ I wracked my brains as I wanted a keepsake to remind me of the wonderful people I get to spend my week with, eventually I knew exactly what I could treat myself to, something that will never go away and I can look at with the love and fondness I have for them all ❤️

HONEST POST
This came up this morning and my 1st thought was ffs I wish I could still run at that pace, no positive thought went through my head. Why am I trying to compete with 7 years ago me , it’s a hard enough job doing that with the me that is now. Could I do this again it’s doubtful , do I want to , I d be lying if I said no , but is that my goal NO , well done me back then, the years before and the years after. Things change , bodies change. On my run this morning i talked to myself like I’d talk to one of my clients , my class participants, family or friends , would I tell them wow you used to be good or would I tell them be proud your still getting there , still putting the effort in even when it’s not feeling easy.
Being kind to others is easy being kind to yourself is hard
