Well, I'm having a lovely, relaxing time here in Zakynthos!

Boat trip out to see Turtle Island, a beautiful majestic Loggerhead Turtle seen up close, snorkelling in the beautiful crystal clear blue waters of the Ionian Sea at Keri Caves, sun, sand, swimming and relaxation.

Classes resume next week from Monday 14 September.

In the meantime, Class Recordings from 19 to 28 August are available on the Web site;

Diary of a Pilates Instructor...NO CLASSES FOR 2 WEEKS!

I hope you've all enjoyed and made the most of a lovely long Bank Holiday weekend? ☀️🌧️🌦️

I sure did and needed a little afternoon nap today! Felt better for it! 🤣

So, just to remind you, there are NO CLASSES for the next 2 weeks from;

TODAY BANK HOLIDAY MON 31 AUGUST ☀️

to

FRI 11 SEPTEMBER 🍁inclusive

So, Course Members can access ALL the Class Recordings from the last 2 weeks (10 classes available) and if you're on a CLASS PASS, then just use a Class on your Pass to access the Class Recording you want.

Just drop a text or Email with your request and we'll send you the Zoom link to the recording, which you can view as many times as you want over the next 2 weeks.

Thank you so very much for support over the summer and let's embrace Autumn. Lots more lovely weather and sunshine to enjoy over the next month or so as the new season begins. ☀️🤸🏽🍁

Well on 18 August, we said our final goodbyes to my dear Nanny.

It was so very, very hard to say our final goodbyes to her that day but we all gathered to show our respects to an amazing woman who lived an amazing long life. Her service was beautiful, it went so smoothly & incredibly well.

My Dad, me, Francis & my brother carried her in to 'Adagio for Strings'...& as my Dad said to her it was an honour to carry her, as she had carried each one of us.

My brother read so the powerful & emotional 'Miss Me but Let Me Go' & my Dad spoke the most lovely, heartfelt & historical eulogy & then I spoke mine.

I'm so pleased to have been able to deliver it; especially the final paragraphs, which are always the toughest to say out loud, as it's the final goodbye & so much love expressed for her.

We sang 'In Heavenly Love Abiding' and 'The Lord is my Shepherd' all as per Nanny's wishes.

Photos of her 102 years of life were shown on the screens & what I didn't know until Francis told me later, was that as we were speaking at the lectern, the photos matched what was being said.

She exited to 'Ni**od', another hugely powerful piece of music.

We really did give her the best send off & sure celebrated her life. I know she'd have been pleased with what was arranged....in fact I know she was. She told me. ✨My Mum and Dad did brilliantly well to organise everything so grateful thanks to them both. It all came together beautifully for her.

So, as I said in my eulogy, this really is the end of an incredible era. I already miss her so much and my heart is broken that she's gone ....but I know Nanny....we have to let you go.

So, be with Grandad, ride on his motorbike again, drive along the country roads, have fun at the lidos and enjoy a paddle in the sea together.

Nanny, you'll forever be with me and I with you. We promised each other this. I love you with all my heart and thank you for teaching me so much. Rest peacefully. All my love.

There are NO CLASSES TODAY, as it's the day we say goodbye to my dear Grandmother. 🤍

I've been practising my eulogy, so I'm hoping I'll be able to deliver it okay.

The Somersham 11:30am & Warboys 6pm classes pause today as we lay my Nanny to rest & say our goodbyes.

These 2 classes will resume next week on 25 August.

Thank so very much again for all your support & kindness over the last 4 weeks. 🙏🏼

Rest peacefully my dear Nanny. Always together. ✨

Diary of a Pilates Instructor...Happy 19th Birthday to my Son! 🎈🎈

It's hard to believe my Son, Francis is 19 today, a professional driver for DEWS Coaches & has an incredible hobby of building tanks.

We had a great day yesterday watching him & his fellow tank team display their WW1 working replica Whippet tank, The Musical Box Armourfest August 2026 in Norfolk.

We're so very proud of him. 😌

So, there is NO CLASS TONIGHT in Somersham 6pm.

This class will pause & resume next week on 24 August.

Diary of a Pilates Instructor...I got married 27 years ago!

I celebrated my 27th Wedding Anniversary on Friday and had a fabulous trip away!

We jumped on a train to Leicester, enjoyed a fabulous Italian meal at LafontanaLeicester meeting the lovely Nav, a quick shopping trip (as I'd left my outfit for the evening behind in the washing machine at home! 🤣🙄) and then off to a gig to see 90s Hip Hop rock bands Collapsed Lung & Senser They were both AMAZING! One of the best gigs we've been to!

We had a terrific night and it was great to meet Jim Burke and Anthony Chapman.

The next day, we enjoyed a lovely stroll around Leicester Old Town and then the most delicious meal at Peara Leicester. Incredible Poppadum!

Thank you to my hubby Barry for such a great time away and my beautiful flowers.

Here's to 27 years married and 36 years together! I love you. 🤍💜

Another back post from 2 Aug which didn't post.

Thank you so very much everyone for your kindness, hugs, cards, lovely words and comments received over the last 2 weeks. I'm so very grateful for all your love and support.

It was my Grandad George's Birthday last Saturday. He was born 25 July 1922. After 18 years of my Nanny being without him, my heart warms to know that she was there with him in time for his Birthday this year.

I imagine you were back on Grandad's motorbike, Nanny, driving through the country lanes to get to the seaside and having fun by the beach again.

Missing both of you so very much but thank you again for all your love and everything you taught me.

Love you both forever. ❤️✨❤️
