Have you heard! We are updating our website.

Whether you are taking part in an activity at a WI meeting, attending a group event, or promoting your WI within the local community, we would be delighted to receive your photos.

If you would like your photographs to be considered for inclusion, please ensure that you have the consent of everyone pictured. All images should be clear and in focus, and can be submitted in either landscape or portrait format.

Something completely new for 2027 - discover the joy of the Ocarina!

Come along and enjoy a delightful Ocarina Workshop, where you will discover the charm of one of the world's oldest musical instruments. Dating back over 30,000 years, the ocarina may be ancient, but it's wonderfully easy to learn.

In this friendly, relaxed workshop you'll be amazed at how quickly you can play your first tune. Within minutes you'll be creating simple melodies and by the end of the session you will be playing beautiful harmonies together as a group.

Whether you have never played an instrument before or simply fancy trying something new, this workshop is all about having fun, making music and enjoying good company. It's the perfect opportunity to learn a new skill, share a few laughs and experience the wonderful sense of achievement that comes from making music together.

No musical experience is needed - just bring yourself and a smile!

£10 members / £12 non-members
Children over the age of 8 / adult supervision required

The Upton Trophy Challenge returns for 2027!
This year's theme is "Birds and/or Bees".
Create your entry in any craft medium / Maximum size: 48cms x 48cms
Entry forms are available on our website, in next month's newsletter or via the WI Office.

All entries will be showcased and judged by popular vote at our Annual Federation Day meeting.
