Another concept bat rolls of the production line. After the last one reading the comments about how it was a copy of others and bits of this n that I thought why not combine our 3 iconic bats into 1. So here it is, the toe of a Reflex, the flat back of the Clipper and the side sculpture of the insignia. Beautiful piece of grade 2 willow fully finished weighs 2.10 and picks up a dream.

Every so often you pick out a piece of wood to make into a bat and it just says to you, "create something different" so here we go "something different" this to me is perfection willow. I am now in my 30th year of Bat Making and through my playing days I used every type of grain construction possible from the narrowest to the widest all the time gaining experience about what works best.
I appreciate that everyone has an opinion and a favourite type of bat and that's totally understandable, this is my opinion. I believe that anything between 7-10 grains gives the best performance and value for money. Cricket bats are expensive pieces of equipment. This year we have released a platinum range. These bats are hand selected by myself and in my opinion are perfect pieces of willow. They will be available in our standard bat shapes but occasionally something a little different will come along, that's exactly what this bat turned out to be. I'm not expecting this to be to everyone's liking, everyone is entitled to their own opinion I just hope sometimes people can think a little outside the box, something a little less traditional.
They bat pictured is 2:11 gripped because of the shape and balance personally I could use this myself and normally I would use 2:9ish it picks up wonderfully well. It's available now and I will leave it as available online for a week to see if there is any interest before adding it to our stock in our showroom. Please message through our social media sites if you are interested.
Many thanks.

We are extremely sad to hear about the passing of David English. David was a personal friend of the company and we are sending all our love and thoughts to his family. A wonderful character who through his Bunbury program has changed the game we all love so much by producing some of the world's best players. David's boots are simply impossible to fill, thank you for everything you have done for the game of cricket.
