Although the summer is drawing to a close I'm happy to continue offering 1:1 lessons till it gets too damned cold. I can generally start at 10:00 (or soon thereafter) off Old Hustanton beach. I have added a 'booking button' on here if you want to try that or you can contact me direct to discuss / arrange a suitable time / date. It is, as always, wind / weather dependent. No one wants a wasted journey to sit with no wind; watching a rain / thunder storm; or, watching it blowing a hooley off shore. Hope to see you at the beach.

Just a reminder on the map for the area between Heacham, Hunstanton, & Brancaster to always make sure the wind is blowing on shore / cross on shore when you head out kitesurfing. West Norfolk is blessed with lots of kiteable days but please check before you hit the water. Any forecast from the South or South East will be off shore ‘everywhere’ on this map. In those situations kitesurf somewhere else...or get a landboard / kitebuggy and stay on dry land. Have fun / stay safe.

We get quite a few questions about which wind directions 'work' at our regular spot in Old Hunstanton. If you look at the map you'll see the beach faces almost perfectly NW. We're therefore OK to kite: SW - W - NW - N - NE. We generally can't kite when the wind is: E - SE - S. If the wind is from the S we need some W in it to make the beaches round the corner (New Hunstanton, Heacham, Snettisham) safe (ie they face mostly W (slightly NW). If the wind is from E it must have N in it to have any chance at old Town). A direct E wind will work at Brancaster (full cross shore) but any S will be off shore there. Brancaster faces N so it's always better to have a little N in it regardless. Look at the map...look at the forecast...double check when you get to the beach. Have fun and be safe.
