🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE – BBQs & FIRES PROHIBITED 🚨

Following the Government’s warnings last week and due to the current drought conditions, please note that NO BBQs or fires are permitted at The Croft Field Activity Centre until further notice.

🔥🚫 This includes all open fires and BBQs.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us keep everyone safe and protecting the site during these exceptionally dry conditions.

Hungerford Town Council is delighted to launch its 2025 Hungerford in Bloom Competition.

This is a lovely time of year with so much coming into flower. If your gardening efforts are starting to really show results, why not enter the Hungerford in Bloom competition? Whether your garden is large or small, or you just have a few containers, there is a category for you. Prizes and certificates will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in each category and the Margaret Wilson Cup will be awarded for the overall most Eco-Friendly Garden. Entering is easy. You can:

The annual Hungerford in Bloom competition has categories for pubs, shops and all other commercial enterprises and also schools and community groups. If you have installed any sort of floral display at your premises, please enter the competition.
