Hungerford U16 Crusaders are through to the Berks & Bucks County Cup Final after a fantastic run, including a dramatic semi-final win on penalties against Bracknell.

Built around a core of local players who have been with the club since the beginning, alongside some fantastic additions, this committed, hard-working squad is now just one game away.

A massive congratulations to our U16 Crusaders for winning their County Cup game against Bracknell.

Crusaders manager Tim said:

A brilliant end-to-end game saw us go 1–0 down despite having the better chances, but the boys showed great determination to equalise and force penalties. After a huge save from AJ, we held our nerve to win 5–4 — a fully deserved victory and into the final! 🥳⚽️

Good luck to our U16 Crusaders who have got their quarter-final fixture this Sunday in the Berks and Bucks County Cup against Chalfont Saints.

Next weekend they face Oxford City in the quarter final of the League Cup.

The boys are having a great run and HTJFC wish them the best of luck 🤍🖤

A massive well done to the Hungerford U8 panthers. After a long unbeaten run this season they lifted the Autumn 12 Cup Trophy on Sunday after winning the final! 🏆

We are all very proud of them as they show so much heart and determination in every game and are a great asset to the whole of Hungerford Town Juniors!

Well done to Oliver M, Arlo C, George M, Ollie L, Wilf C, Wilfred A, Florence O, Rory W, Bobby T.

And a big well done to the team coaches who volunteer week in, week out to support these brilliant players 👏

Hungerford Crusaders U15 had their final league game on Sunday with a 3-0 win against Corsham, which completed their season of 18 league games undefeated.
On the 30/4, they secured winning the NWYFL DIV 1 U15 age group at Swindon Supermarine with 4-2 win still with two games in hand.
They are the only team in their age group across all divisions to complete the season undefeated, and also a new record of winning the league for three consecutive years was set. The boys attitude and desire to play football are by far their best attributes, coaches; Tim Thatcher , Dan Taylor and Simon English have been so supportive and encouraging throughout the season.
Next season will bring new challenges. No doubt the boys will embrace this to further their development.
