Cricket is an integral part of island life, and has been played (ably fueled with sandwiches, tea and cake by St Martins Ladies) on Pool Green, for many years. Fixtures are played against St Marys, St Agnes and Tresco & Bryher Cricket Clubs on a regular basis during the season. Annual touring sides such as the Mal de Mers and Bays Hill have been coming to play on St Martins for 32 years and 28 years respectively. Other touring teams have included Truro Doctors, Bugle and the MCC. In addition to our regular fixtures, there is the fiercely competitive but great fun Triangle Tournament, which takes place annually between St Martins, Tresco and St Agnes , which celebrated its anniversary this year.
