Confidence isn’t something you wait to feel. It’s something you build.
Day 2 of our Adventure Weekend took us ghyll scrambling, climbing waterfalls, abseiling down rock faces, sliding through rapids and doing plenty of things that made people stop and think, “Do I actually want to do this?” 😂
And that’s kind of the point.
We deliberately make experiences like this part of our Adventure Weekends because there’s something powerful about choosing to step outside your comfort zone.
Feeling nervous.
Feeling apprehensive.
Not being completely sure you can do it.
…and doing it anyway.
Every time you do, you give yourself another piece of evidence:
“I can handle difficult things.”
And that confidence doesn’t have to stay on the side of a mountain.
It comes back with you.
Into the gym. Into work. Into relationships. Into the next challenge life puts in front of you.
The goal isn’t to become fearless.
It’s to become someone who knows they can feel the fear, take the next step anyway, and trust themselves to figure it out.
That’s what these weekends are really about.
Adventure. Connection. A bit of discomfort.
And coming home having proved something to yourself. ❤️
