Introduction:
Hi, my names Casey and I’m 20 years old from Huddersfield, I am offering a range of services from riding, holiday cover, backing/breaking, lunging and simply coming to feed your horse or any other general yard work you require.
I have been around horses since I was around 8, doing bits of work on a riding school, grooming competition horses, loaning ponies and then owning my own who I then produced as he hadn’t been in consistent and correct work before I bought him, I then sold him after 2 1/2 years as I moved away to Askham Bryan college to study in Level 3 equine sport for two years, at the end of this I achieved a merit overall, this covered biology, behaviour, health and then flat work, pole work and, jumping. 🎉
I then went on to work on a dairy farm for a couple of years as well as doing bits of work with horses, I really enjoyed this and learnt a lot, then I fell pregnant, but now I am ready to come back into the working world after been in my baby bubble for 9 months and provide my knowledge in something I am very passionate about. I will be sure to take time and pride in every job to make sure it is done correctly to a high standard and would treat every animal as if they were my own🐎
I would say I am an experienced jockey from my own experiences in the equine world especially when it comes to fitness, lunging and bringing horses on/back into work as I am only 5ft4 and a lightweight rider so can ride a variety of ponies and horses, I am also used to spicy ponies and work very softly with my hands and have a very quiet seat🐴
