Morning all.

We have set up a new booking in system on an apps called “Spond”

It will basically notify you when race meetings are on and you can confirm attendance etc. there will also be a payment option on this in the future.

Top nights racing for our first of the new summer series.

12 drivers made it to race so thank you all :)

We tested out our new timing system and appreciated everyone sticking to the timing timetable - which meant we got done, cleared up and out by 9:30 (having with 3 heats, 4 rounds and the finals :) )

Some fantastic racing all evening. It's great to see that all of the new drivers (many who only stated RC racing this year) are making such a leap up the qualifying tables! Keep it up guys! This is what local club RC racing is all about!

The results from last night:

C Final

1st - Tobias Karim
2nd - Jonny Green
3rd - Paul Ryder
4th - Andy Swaine

B Final

1st - Jeremy Blann (Vintage)
2nd - Andy Pattison (Vintage)
3rd - Russell Starkie
4th - Steve Mitchell

A Final

1st - Jamie Paton
2nd - Dan Moorhouse
3rd - Harry Ashford
4th - Jim Sykes (Vintage)

All the finals were close run - but a special mention to Jamie, Dan and Harry - there was only 1.07 seconds splitting Jamie & Dan, and 0.5 seconds splitting Dan and Harry in the A final as they crossed the line!!! Blooming close racing!!

Briliant racing everyone.

Also a massive thanks to Jeremy who brought everyone an Easter Egg :)

As mentioned last night, we will be doing a championship over summer hopefully starting at the next meeting so regardless of if you are racing against 2wd, 4wd or vintage, you will be placed in the relevant group for the overall championship (once I suss it out lol)

Booking in is open for next Thursday (16th April) for the start of our summer series.

We will be using the new RC Timig system so will probably need to check transponders etc (but im hoping most of the info would have copied across okay!)

Just to be on the safe side, if you can post your name, clas sof car and transponder number it will help :)

WYRCR is pleased to announce that we will running the latest lap timing system from https://www.rc-timing.com from now on - This will allow you to check results online as well as on the night on our two huge screens :D

Get these booked into your diaries! Remember we need a minimum of 10 drivers for each meeting!
