Lindley 10k and Lindley Junior Run Lindley 10K starts in the centre of Lindley village near Huddersfield. The course is certified as an accurate distance.

The race starts and finishes on Lidget Street near Lindley library. Course accuracy information can be found at www.coursemeasurement.org.uk

Rises from 218 mtrs at start to 286 mtrs at 3k,then 142 mtrs at 8K .then back to 218mtrs at finishLidget St closed to traffic for start and finish. Also West St up to right turn into Weatherhill Rd. Runners may use right side of West St before turn ,then will be marshalled to the left side. All other parts of the course runners will stay on the left. Parking is available on Acre Street across from Huddersfield Royal Infirmary, next to the Nightingale Pub. Please note the Lidget Street/Hollybank Road car park in Lindley will be closed on the day of the race. For further information please visit: www.kirklees.gov.uk/parking

🎉 What an absolutely incredible day at the Lindley 10k and Junior Run! 🎉

The sun was shining, the atmosphere was electric, and Lindley truly showed what a fantastic community we have.

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who made today so special:

🏃‍♂️ To our Runners & Junior Racers: You were all phenomenal! From the incredible effort in the Junior Run to the determination on the 10k course, you smashed it. Seeing the determination and smiles crossing the finish line was inspiring.
🙌 To our Volunteers: We simply could not host this event without you. Thank you to our marshals, water station teams, and everyone behind the scenes who gave up their Sunday to keep everyone safe and cheered on.

We have some very important news ahead of this weekend's races.
Both the Lindley 10k and the Lindley Junior Run are now completely fully subscribed! We are absolutely thrilled by the incredible response and can't wait to see everyone on the start line. 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️
⚠️ Important Notice Regarding Entries
Because we have reached our absolute maximum capacity, and due to strict event licence and insurance restrictions, we are completely unable to take any new registrations or entries in person at Race HQ on either Saturday or Sunday.
To avoid disappointment, please note:
• ❌ No entries on the day will be available.
• ❌ No late registrations can be processed at Race HQ.
Thank you all so much for your incredible support and understanding. We have to keep our runners, volunteers, and the public safe, and sticking strictly to our licensed numbers is a huge part of that.

🏅 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE LINDLEY 10K & JUNIOR RUN 2026! 🏃‍♂️💨

Our community’s biggest race day is returning on Sunday 28th June, and we need your help to make it a safe and fantastic success!

An event of this scale simply can’t happen without an incredible team of volunteers. Whether you want to be right in the heart of the action or cheering runners across the finish line, we have a role for you:

Route Marshals: Stationed at key points to direct runners and keep everyone safe.

Finish Line Team: Handing out well-deserved medals and water to our finishers.

Expressions of interest are invited from businesses and organisations wishing to become Official Sponsors or Official Partners of the 2026 Lindley 10K, taking place on Sunday 28 June 2026 in Lindley, Huddersfield.

The Lindley 10K is widely recognised as Huddersfield’s main 10K road race, forming a key part of the town’s annual sporting calendar. Organised by Lindley Running Club in partnership with Lindley Community Group, the event attracts runners from across West Yorkshire and beyond and continues to grow in profile and reputation year on year.

The race is licensed by England Athletics and delivered in line with UK Athletics Rules for Competition, ensuring high standards of organisation, safety and professionalism.

A range of sponsorship and partnership opportunities is available for 2026. These include headline sponsorship, category sponsorship, branding on race numbers and event infrastructure, digital promotion across pre-event marketing, and on-the-day presence. Packages can be tailored to align with your organisation’s objectives and brand priorities.

Supporting the Lindley 10K positions your organisation alongside a respected, professionally delivered road race that promotes participation, health and positive community engagement. The 10K race starts at 9.30am from Lidget Street, Huddersfield (HD3 3JP), with an officially measured course and professional chip timing. A junior race will take place earlier in the morning ahead of the main event.
