Shelley Community Football Club

Shelley Community Football Club We are a wholly owned subsidiary of the Leslie Sports Foundation providing footballing opportunities for players of all abilities.

The club runs: 2 adult teams; 2 U21 teams; 15 junior sides (u7-u18); walking football; and u4-u7 Saturday sessions. Mission Statement:

To provide a safe environment where through coaching and playing we instil in our players the relationship effort has to success & how that approach is beneficial to all aspects of their lives not just football. To respect coaches, team mates, opposition, parents

& themselves. To provide a fun, structured route to first team football @ Shelley Community Football Club. To development technical, tactical, physical & psychological aspects which will ingrain a lifelong passion for the game.

🔴⚫ SHELLEY FC MANAGEMENT UPDATE 🔴⚫

We are delighted to welcome Anthony Munday to Shelley FC as First Team Coach ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Anthony joins the management team bringing a wealth of experience, strong coaching values and a passion for player development. He will work alongside Dom Webster, Danny “Jenno” Jennings and Sam Taylor as the club prepares for the new campaign.

💬 Anthony said:

“I’m delighted to be joining Shelley FC’s First Team coaching staff. Shelley is one of Huddersfield’s leading clubs, with a fantastic reputation on and off the pitch and strong ties within the local community.

🔴⚫️ CLUB ANNOUNCEMENT ⚫️🔴

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Dom Webster as First Team Manager.

Dom’s pedigree is high and he shares the vision and passion we have to take the club forwards. His experience in building competitive sides; developing youth and nurturing talent stands out.

Welcome back to Shelley, Dom!

We will be running 2 adult sides and 2 U21 sides in the upcoming season, as well as teams from U7 to U18.

After tonight’s AGM we are pleased to announce our Shelley FC Dev team will enter the Huddersfield and District Association League next season.

We have been placed into division 2 and will look to blend experience and youth, whilst supporting our first team throughout the season.

New manager Chris Calvert and assistant Ryan Harvey can now fine tune the squad ahead of the opener on the 25th August. Fixtures TBC.
