Huddersfield Dragons hockey club was formed for the 2009/10 season and beyond through the merger of Huddersfield Hockey Club and Lockwood Park Dragons Hockey Club. The club can now boast seven mens teams, three womens teams, a full compliment of boys and girls junior teams plus veteran and vintage teams. By having this range of teams we can accommodate virtually all ages and experience levels. 💜 Remembering Claire 💜

It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our friend and player Claire, who sadly passed away this week after a courageous battle with breast cancer.

Claire was a much-loved member of HDHC, a wonderful teammate and, above all, a truly special friend to many.

For those who played alongside Claire, her loss will be deeply felt. Our thoughts are with her teammates, friends and family at this incredibly difficult time.

To celebrate her life, all teams will be taking part in a minutes applause before games this weekend. Players are also invited to wear something pink alongside their team kit.

🏑🏆 THE HALLAS CUP IS BACK! 🏆🏑

On Saturday 5th September, Dragons teams head to Bradford Hockey Club for the annual Hallas Cup — a day of competitive hockey, local rivalry and plenty of team spirit! 💜

After lifting the Hallas Cup last year, Dragons will be heading to Bradford determined to retain the trophy and bring it home for another year! 💪💜 🏆

We’ll be battling it out against our friends (and rivals!) from Bradford Hockey Club across a series of games, with every match counting towards the Hallas Cup.
