We’re looking to bring a female Level 2 Gym Instructor into our team.
This role is centred around creating a comfortable supportive space within our ladies only gym, where our female members feel confident and encouraged in their training. We’re looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and passionate about helping others feel their best in the gym.
You’ll be part of a team that values community, support, and delivering a great experience every day.

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of one of our much-loved members, Lesley.

Lesley was a valued part of the BigBox community and will be remembered for her positivity, warmth and the energy she brought to the club. She was a familiar face in class and someone who made a lasting impression on the people around her.

This weekend, Karen will be dedicating her Sunday classes to Lesley’s memory:
LBT at 9:35am
HIIT and Tone at 10:30am

These sessions will be a chance to come together, move and remember Lesley in the spirit she showed throughout her time with us.

Our thoughts are with Lesley’s family, friends, Karen and everyone in our BigBox community who knew her.

Town to Town: Ipswich to Huddersfield for The Darby Rimmer MND Foundation

From 19th to 21st June 2026, Sir Christopher Dean, Mark & Dan will ride the 237 miles from Ipswich to Huddersfield, finishing on World MND Day. As part of the One Last P4P - for Marcus Stewart, a Huddersfield Town legend and former player now battling MND. A player we have watched from the stands and gave us many moments of joy.

Funds raised will go to the Darby Rimmer Foundation to help create awareness of the disease, assist with funding research to find a cure, and contribute towards grants and the provision of information of support to those diagnosed with the disease.

If you’re able to donate, no matter the amount, it genuinely makes a difference. Every pound raised helps fund research, care, and support for those living with MND.

This month, come along and learn more about MORA Therapy and Meridian Understanding - a holistic approach focused on identifying the root cause of symptoms and supporting overall wellbeing.

Not every deadlift should look the same 👀

Each variation has a different purpose:
✅ Kettlebell = learn the hinge
✅ Landmine = better positioning & beginner-friendly
✅ T-Bar = upper back & pulling power
✅ Conventional = maximum strength

The problem?
Most people use the WRONG mechanics for the variation they’re doing 😅

Small setup changes can completely change:
✔️ Muscle activation
✔️ Strength output
✔️ Lower back stress
✔️ Overall technique

Train smarter, not just heavier.
