Being shortlisted for Club of the Year is a fantastic achievement and one we’re incredibly proud of.

Thank you to everyone who helps make the club what it is,our volunteers, coaches, players, committee members, sponsors, supporters, parents and everyone working behind the scenes. Your time, effort and dedication keep the club running day in, day out.

Grassroots football is built on community, and we’re lucky to have so many people who continue to support and believe in what we do.

We’re incredibly grateful for every vote and all the support we’ve received. Whatever happens next, we’re proud of what we’ve achieved together.

What a season we’ve had!

Securing our Premier Division status was a huge achievement, and now we look ahead to an FA Cup qualifier on the horizon. 💚

One of the biggest positives this season has been seeing so many young players come through and make their mark. We’re proud to keep working hard on the pathway we’ve built from junior girls’ football through to open-age football, and we’re excited to see even more players progress in the years ahead.

We have ambitious plans for the future as we continue developing Golcar into a club where players of all ages, abilities and experience levels can enjoy their football in a competitive, safe and welcoming environment.

Keep an eye out for updates and news ahead of the new season as we aim to continue the incredible progress made over recent years. We’ll be sharing information on new players, sponsorship opportunities, and our long-term vision for the women’s section.

A huge thank you to every player, member of the management team, supporter and volunteer who has played a part in another successful season. Your commitment and support mean everything to the club.

Golcar United are looking for volunteers to join us for matchdays and in preparation for match days.

❓Can you help?

We’re looking for assistance in the following areas:

- General matchday hospitality (bar/matchday tasks)

- Sports Journalists and matchday social media co-ordinator x2 (ideal for sports journalism students)

- Marketing and Social Media Co-ordinator x2 (ideal for marketing students- will include graphic designing)

- Videographer (ideal for students)

- Photographer

- Matchday Programme editor

These roles are perfect for anyone who would love to be part of a fantastic community club for experience, to contribute towards college/university assignments or for those who to get out and socialise.
