Matt Royale has been granted a day out from his hospital treatment to attend tonight show, which he was originally scheduled to compete on before being attacked and injured by Dan Demain .

As the Wrestling Appreciation Society has continued to grow over the last 4 years, more members have come through the doors, showcasing their commitment and in-ring skills.

Following up from our Q&A video from last week, the new gen members of the society share their society highlights from their varied lengths of time of being a member.

The Q&A with the more recent members of the group shows that the length of time within the group isn’t what’s important - it’s the quick amount of time it took for them to feel at home. To feel apart of the WAS family.

🚨 MATCH ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨

When a story is filled with romance, birth, loss, grief, time-travel, dimension hopping, revenge, and tyranny - there’s only one way to put this to an end… NO DQ!

The dark multiversal variant of DAVE - EVAD ‘The Anti DAVE’ - will step out of the Thunder Dimension to go face to face with Taylor Royal (formerly Taylor Thunder) in Interdimensional Warfare on May 2nd at DEADLINE 4: Settle the Score.

For those not in the know (don’t worry - we didn’t either) Interdimensional Warfare is essentially a street fight but with EVAD, an other worldly being involved, all earthly laws and concepts are out the window.

Truly anything could happen here.

Can the earthly mortal Taylor Royal avenge the death of his father, DAVE (we know this is getting weird…), who died at the hands of EVAD? Can the beast be conquered to free the Thunder Dimension of their strict reign?

🚨 A WEEK UNTIL DEADLINE 4: Settle the Score 🚨

Saturday 2nd May at 6PM the Wrestling Appreciation Society (WAS) presents its final charity event - DEADLINE 4: Settle the Score.

With 7 days left until the final WAS hurrah we want to remind everybody that tickets are still available on our ticket website (https://www.huddersfieldsu.co.uk/groups/wrestling-appreciation/events/was-deadline-4-settle-the-score/buy_ticket) and will be available on the door the day of the event.

In 2022 the Wrestling Appreciation Society was born. 2023 saw the debut of our annual wrestling event DEADLINE, which took place Saturday 29th April. Some of those who were at that event are still around today 3 years later, and are still as dedicated to the society as they were when they first joined.

On the lead up to the final show on May 2nd, the OG members of WAS have taken part in Q&A; reflecting on their time as a member of the society for the past 4 years.

A staggering 20 of the 25 men have been drawn by our GM ‘Big G’ George Malone for May 2nd’s main event; and earlier today he confirmed the last 2 men to be announced publicly for the DEADLINE RUMBLE.

Discussing the final entrants George commented: “We don’t want to give EVERYONE away. But we do want to give the two newest WAS entities a chance to shine on the final DEADLINE stage. Tommy Steel and EVAD may have familiar faces to our audience, but with their new change in personality, they will no doubt provide new thrills in this jam packed contest. As for the 3 remaining slots in the match - you’ll have to be there LIVE for DEADLINE 4: Settle the Score a week on Saturday to see the surprises I have in store!”

‘MUSH’ IS NO MORE… Meet Tommy Steel!

After a brutal couple of weeks of having his dreams crushed, friendships broken, and uneven odds thrown his way ‘Mush’ has snapped.

Wanting to disassociate from his former best friend Looster the Gooster’s branding of him, he wants his own man. He wants to make his own legacy. He wants to be Tommy Steel.

Tommy doesn’t only want to prove he can be just as loveable by being himself at DEADLINE 4: Settle the Score on May 2nd, he also wants a match. A match that will prove why sticking to your true self can make the biggest impact.

He wants a triple threat match against Looster the Gooster and his hired gun Douggie Mathews - Pro Wrestler!

The GM is processing Steel’s request as we speak so stay tuned later today for further updates.
