🎳 That's a wrap on another incredible season with Huddersfield Hornets YBC! 💙💛🐝
What a season it's been!
We've travelled far and wide, competing all the way through to the National Championships in Dunstable and taking the team up to Washington, with our bowlers winning some fantastic trophies along the way. 🏆
We've shared so many amazing memories together, including our Mother's Day Fun Bowl, Father's Day Fun Bowl and our fun-filled PJ's Fun Bowl, bringing everyone together both on and off the lanes.
We celebrated an incredible achievement as Jacob, Marcus, Emma Jane and Archie were all selected to represent Team Yorkshire – a proud moment for them, their families and the club. 💙🤍
Our season also included a fantastic team victory at the British Youth Team Open, our 3rd Annual Leeds Fundraiser, a brilliant Escape Room social, and a parents' social filled with great food, cocktails and plenty of laughs. 🍹
A special shout-out to Becky and Emma, who travelled down south to raise money for Strike Out for Cancer, showing the true spirit of Hornets. 💛
Congratulations to Jacob on completing his coaching course this season – a fantastic achievement and a great addition to the club. 👏
We were also proud to celebrate our Hornet of the Year winners, recognising the dedication, commitment and positive attitude shown throughout the season. 🌟
Most importantly, we've watched every one of our young bowlers grow in confidence, improve their game, support one another and create friendships that will last a lifetime. That's what being a Hornet is all about.
A huge thank you to all our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters. None of this would be possible without you.
