Hello everyone! We are now announcing the end of Yoshinkan Aikido sports club for the academic year 2023/24. We've had a lovely year and don't worry, we'll be ready to go again in September. Until then, keep practicing those movements and we'll see you next academic year!

Thank you very much Huddersfield Tomiki Aikido for hosting us at a guest class last night. It was an absolute pleasure seeing your club and showing you the Yoshinkan style of Aikido. It is always great to train with lovely, attentive and passionate people and hope to see you around more often.

This Girl Can! We are glad to announce that we are taking part in the This Girl Can project with ActiveHud so next Wednesday (the 22nd) is going to be an all-women session. This is ideal if you're a woman who's wanted to have a go but never felt confident enough or if you just never got around to it. The only man in the room will be Sensei Louis.

With our biweekly student and staff Aikido classes come and learn self defense and fitness skills taught to the Japanese riot police.

Learn personal safety techniques that focus on pinning, joint locks and throwing that enables you to control an attacker without the need to use excessive physical strength.

Classes are in studio 1 (ActiveHud) at 630pm-8pm on Wednesdays and Fridays each week (term time).

Feel free to message us if you have any questions or just come along and give it a go.

Hello everyone, we are looking forward to our classes starting again this week after Sensei's time off (thank you for your patience).

As a reminder, class times are 630-8pm in studio 1 ActiveHud every Wednesdays and Fridays with revs food and drink after the Friday session.
