Eeeee! What a weekend we had ☺️.

Miss V and I had our last dressage competition with the 'Cob Mob' before Regionals and we only went and won it 🤩.
Absolutely brilliant feeling, well done team 😁.....best score yet and a lovely red plaque from Port Royal EEC (plus a mint chocolate orange).

So proud of the Pones! Even if she did escape the trailer and run down the drive - the trot was a definite 9 so we'll be working on that effort inside the boards now 😳🤣.

As always thank you so much to Horsemanship Saddlery UK Ltd. For the anatomical bridles and girth to make V feel her best and help her relax. Also,.the Horsemanship bit is the only bit V has ever accepted!! The wide stirrup leathers keep my leg stable! Plus as a friend, thank you for letting me take your car and trailer!!

Exploring random places on Thursday 😆. DD is so brilliant - a role model for all 2 year olds and above!!

Watching her Mum ask her to park herself was awesome 🤩. I was really proud that DD went through the tunnel and stopped with me on the outside.....but then she came out a bit silly and started wanting to play with me.
Absolute honour but we were there to concentrate 🤣💕.

Just doing a spot of Certification through my membership with British Grooms Association !

Now I run Felicity's Livery it's about time I showed the world I'm officially a professional Groom (as well as instructor and horse trainer 😆).

Thank you to each and every person for the ongoing support - 16years I've been doing this "job" 💕.

I know it's boiling hot, but I'm praying for it to cool down!!

So this got me thinking - I have a "reminder to clip list", you ask to be added to my list, I'll send you a friendly reminder that it's that time of year again and get your horse or pony booked in at a time to suit 😀.

One less thing to remember to do.

So comment, message or grab me when you see me and I'll take that 1 little job off your hands 💕.

I've been away for a few days to Mablethorpe 💕. Just me, my Husband and 2 beautiful kids....a small change of scenery really is fantastic for the soul!

I've just had a late check on my own 2 gorgeous horses. I have finally felt I could do some ground work with Fred and have a little ride on Miss V.......I decided on raised poles for Fred to really work on moments of suspension to help him rebuild his core and top line.

Then Miss V worked on serpentines over poles with no saddle, just a bridle. Oh my gosh I felt very wobbly to start with so no trot today as I think I'd have slipped off one side 😆.

It was just a beautiful evening and that's the time to hop back on board!!

I'll do a little video of adventures soon....for now it's just holiday pics 😆💕.

This mare is someone special!!

It's a long video so I'll post the full video in my group - The Thoughtful Corner so please request to be added if you'd like to see 🙂.

This is the 3rd time I've worked with her and we had another mare calling for her from the stables so I made the decision to give DD something to think about quickly..... I'll explain why in my group 😁.

Working with horses like this is an honour and so very rewarding - Kat Chalupka your bias is justified 💕🤣.

A possibility little known fact about me is I began my whole freelance work based on retraining ex racers 😁.

A specialism I acquired during my time in racing - I aimed (and still do) to bridge the gap between horse owners and the racing industry.

Horses that have come from a racing background (raced or not) come with a very unique set of triggers which I hope to offer insight into!

Also, one of my horses I work rode in training was 'Adare Prince' and he was raced at Wetherby by AP McCoy 💕. My little claim to fame 🤣.
I did find out Adare went on to have a wonderful retirement home - lucky boy.

Jobs day today..... thought I'd take advantage of having the Husband, Ben Warden to help 😁.

We got hooks put up for head collars, netting on the barn before the rain comes, netting on the internal gate to stop a draft, poo picked, cleaned and changed waters, put in a new line of fencing to make the fields more secure for the ladies.....

Tired now 🤣💕.
