So Miss V has had a very exciting and tiring day exploring a completely new area with my poor map reading skills 🫣🤣.

Before we went on this mammoth adventure I had her saddle checked by CF Equine Ltd and the difference has been noticeable to say the least! I feel like I was sat in balance the whole way today for 17km and even galloping past Chatsworth House - I felt like I was just the best rider ever 🤣🏇....weeeee!!

Also, I always ride with the wide leathers from Horsemanship Saddlery UK Ltd. As they prevent my leg from swinging and prevent fatigue and that sharp knee pain that can come from long rides! I wouldn't be without them now.

And how good does Miss V look with her glitzy browband?! Discreet yet beautiful. It even features rubber on the inside to keep the band where it should be. Poppers mean you can swap and change without undoing your whole bridle!!
And the leather is so supple, V never objects to having her bridle on - she's telling me through her behaviour all is well ✨.

I am busier than I thought I would be.... it's hot, sticky and I've caught the sun.
My bum hurts as do my knees from a fantastic hack in the sunshine yesterday.
Today was a tricky Merlyn ride plus extra.bed, feeds, nets and waters to clean and fill at Felicity's Livery due to holidays and injuries!

Tomorrow is a forecast of more sticky weather, poo picking in sunshine, attempting to battle the insistent ragwort whilst wrangling my children.......wish me luck 😆.

For those I am trying desperately to fit in, I will reply, I will get dates to you as soon as possible. I plan to sit in PJ's with a coffee and sort my budget and diary in the morning....who knows I might even manage a Freedom Hacking Club restart too 💓.

Thank you for keeping me busy, it is appreciated and I hope these long days are worth it.....they definitely are to see beautiful, relaxed and secure horses 🤩.

(I'm even cat sitting this week 😆).

Has anyone watched Badminton?! I haven't had chance to fully watch but the bits I have seen have been awesome, a little bit worrying and definitely thought provoking!!!

I did do a mini podcast on No bucks given .....I talk about flash nosebands and how I just don't think they are needed!

So just a quick note to say if you haven't had a listen - have a look out for my mini episode (Sam was poorly)......I chat about chucking those nosebands in Stevens Room 101 (Sam's Husband) with a few other things!

How's everyone's weekend been?

Mine changed from Friday plans!! I was due to be a reader at Cob Club Dressage, but unfortunately my lovely lady, Julie, who helps at my livery ended up injured so I was on duty with the horses today.

Although, managed to get Sky's new field cleared of previous p**p, unscrew the bars for a grid I'm fitting for my new livery and even sort a bolt that wasn't fitting properly. Plus the usual jobs ☺️!

Can't quite believe it's Monday tomorrow already, I'm honestly not sure where this week has gone 🫣......

Managed to record a No bucks given podcast on my own as my partner in crime has been knocked off her feet with illness 😕.

Well I have a very exciting announcement to make.....

I am now a brand ambassador for EquiReach Equestrian .
