For the past two years I have been learning splits to mainly help with my running and my overall leg health and flexability.

As i am a runner you can imagine having loose hamstrings differs day to day but yesterday i finally saw some progress in both my Left and Right box splits.

I'm so pleased with how far i have come over the last two years with my strength and flexibility as well as applying myself to the right training schedule.

Learning splits at 40 is possible. 💯😊

As it's been a while since I shared a post to this page. Here is a recent clip of me skating this september on a lovely sunny day in hove.

Skating has indeed replaced my skipping rope in recent years. Equally bring me a lot of joy, but overall less shin splints. 🤣🤣🤣

So here we are one I've been working on for a couple of weeks and I'm now ready to share my new three trick combo!

Lizard pose- Utthan Pristhasana
45° turn, one drop knee, lizard pose- variation, turning to a double drop knee to standing.

It's been a while since I've found my feet so to speak so it's nice to now feel back in the flow again.

What am I doing this week? I'm back on board creating fun and enjoyable new content for you all to try.

Bottom left is a NEWtrick which to me resembles a bow and arrow. As I've not seen anyone do this before, I name it the bow and arrow, 🏹
The arm must be crossed over the leg, which is balanced on the knee, toe flexed to protect the knee. At the same time you are hanging five, squat/seated on the edge of the board. Arm stretched out, or if your feeling more of a challenge support the back of the board with your finger tips. 😁✋ Look forward and enjoy the achievement, Well done!

Making short routines seems to be my current flow and the good thing about skipping is you can make it your own.
