I've been in the messy middle.

I'm still there, to be honest.

And to be even more honest, sometimes life in general feels like the messy middle.

A house move, coaching accreditation exam, training course, parenting, partnering, living.

It's joyful and tough and wonderful and a lot all at once.

But I know you know this, because you're doing it too.

So here is a reminder for me as much as you, to breathe.

Right now, breathe with me:

✨️ In, two, three, four
✨️ Out, two, three, four, five, six, seven

✨️ In, two, three, four
✨️ Out, two, three, four, five, six, seven

✨️ In, two, three, four
✨️ Out, two, three, four, five, six, seven

There, feel better? Me too 💛

In the interests of sharing the good, the bad and the ugly on this grid...

Today feels hard. I've been awake since about 1am, aside from a few minutes of dozing here and there.

I'm knackered and it's only 8:39am.

It's Monday.

Today needs a different level of patience than I mentioned in my last post. And I won't lie, it feels tough.

As a recovering perfectionist, days like this feel especially difficult for me. I feel like I've failed at something before even getting out of bed.

And sometimes that spirals throughout the morning.

But today I choose different. Today I choose slowing down, acceptance where I can and grace where I can't.

And above all, coffee 😅

Wishing you a beautiful day 💛

On patience...

I am not a patient person. Neither is my six-year-old (can't think why!).

Modeling something for our children that we find difficult ourselves is really bloody hard.

It just is.

And that's OK.

Putting up some shelves with my fiancée today I found myself becoming impatient and frustrated. It was harder than we expected.

My son was around, popping in and out, playing, watching. And so we talked to him about how we were finding it hard and frustrating. And then we persevered.

And it was hard. But we did it.

And so what I invite you to do is give yourself grace when the stuff you're trying to model for your kids isn't always easy. It doesn't have to be easy for you to be able to teach your kids. In fact, I'd wager they learn more from your ability to manage something difficult or your mistakes than if you were to do it perfectly.

We can do hard things 💛

Time for an intro post, I think

Hello! I'm Erin - mum, fiancee, coach, woman working her way through this thing called life, doing her best to make her corner of it a little brighter.

What does that mean, in practice? Lots of people call themselves coaches, some with training, some without, some with lots of life experience and expertise, some without.

Me? I'm a trained coach with a Professional Diploma in Coaching and over 100 hours of experience coaching women like you. I will soon be applying for accreditation from the ICF (International Coaching Federation) which tells you that my training and expertise have been assessed and judged to be pretty bloody good!

What does that mean?

It means you can trust me with your stuff. It means that I have the tools and experience to help you go where you want to go. And it means that the space I hold when we work together not only feels safe, but is safe because I have the training necessary to give you the support you need and deserve.

I help busy women, mums and caregivers to reconnect to themselves, their values and their passions. I help them find their spark and reignite it, after losing it in a life that suddenly got way busier than they bargained for.

Tired of feeling like there's just no time for you? I know how you feel and what's more, I can help you. Together we'll take a look at what's getting in your way and I'll teach you the practical and mindset tools you need to find your way back to yourself and make space for the you that's been missing.

Drop a heart below if you're ready to feel like you again 💛

The face of a coach after a brilliant workshop with some brilliant, passionate, creative, gorgeous women! Tired, but very happy.

And what a workshop it was! I love holding space for women, sharing knowledge and tools to help them make the change in their lives they want and need.

Imposter syndrome is a tough one to handle, it gets in the way of so much - from our relationships to our business dreams to our earning potential.

But there are things you can do and tools you can us to manage the impact of imposter syndrome. And when you can manage it, it won't have such an impact - which is what everyone wants, no?

Didn't manage to make it to this one? Don't worry, there will be another!

Special thanks to and for hosting 💛

Early evening park trip with the wee man

I LOVE when the clocks go back - don't we all? And now my son is a bit bigger, going to bed a little later, these post-tea trips are often my favourite time of day. He has more energy and so do I.

And this applies across the board - spring is springing and now is the time to pour your energy into your 2025 goals. The true 'new year', the start of spring, is the time for new goals - much more so than January.

Tackle them with the renewed energy of spring, invigorated and full of life!

This is exactly what the first cohort of my course Align Awaken Achieve are doing. The ultimate antidote to 'New Year New Me', we've been meeting monthly to work with 3 key chakras to identify our goals, tackle our fears and harness our courage. And now that spring is here, it's time to GO GO GO!

How are your 2025 goals feeling, now? Have you lost your way? It's not too late. 1:1 coaching is a brilliant way to help you go after your goals, providing accountability, gentle challenges and brilliant tools. Drop me a line - I have spots opening up from May.

Gorgeous feedback from one of the members of my antidote to 'New Year, New Me' course, 'Align Awaken Achieve' 🥰

We had our final session last night and it was just gorgeous to hear the women sharing the power statements they created for themselves. Having activated the solar plexus chakra with a powerful visualisation, all of them were stepping into their power beautifully 💪

And, we're going to continue! Accountability, continued support and guidance, as well as getting to know eachother better as a group 💛 so this morning I will be busily designing something to create this for the group going forward. I'm really excited about it!

This first cohort of Align Awaken Achieve have shown up beautifully for themselves, eachother and what they want to create in 2025. It's been beautiful to watch and I can't wait to see what more is to come!

I'll definitely be running AAA again so keep your eyes peeled for the waitlist opening later this year, it's going to be popular!

Imposter Syndrome

When it hits, it can plummet us into a thought-spiral that can last days, or even longer

It's destructive, upsetting and utterly exhausting

It really is a b*tch

What if I told you that I could teach you some techniques to help you overcome your imposter syndrome? So that the next time it strikes, you don't lose days of your precious time trying to climb out of the pit it chucks you into?

Join me at on Friday 4th April at 2pm for a two-hour workshop for where I will do just that.

You can expect an interactive experience with like-minded women who all find themselves challenged by imposter syndrome in their own businesses.

Imposter syndrome would have you think you're alone in this, but you're absolutely not.

There is very little that compares to listening to my partner read a bedtime story to my son.

She isn't his biological parent. But they adore eachother.

Standing in the kitchen this evening, saying goodnight, he said "I will hug the person I want to put me to bed". And he hugged Stacey, not me.

And it was beautiful.

Because he made a choice to share those last moments of his day with her. Which is even more poignant because today was his last day before changing school on Monday.

It's been a BIG week in his 6-year-old world.

But he chose Stacey for his bedtime this evening.

Because he loves her, she makes him feel safe and loved.

And that is priceless 💛

It's a fierce group of brilliant women building business and eachother and I wouldn't be where I am in my business now if it wasn't for them!

Excited to see where they go this year (award nominated, no less!) and continue being a part of this amazing group.

If you're a female business owner in Sussex I would highly recommend you check them out. If you want more info or to hear what it's like, feel free to reach out 💛

Continuing with my theme of self-love, this week I've been thinking about self-discipline.

I don't mean the judgey, mean little voice in your head that tells you you're not putting enough effort in.

Hell.no.

This week, I've been re-framing self-discipline as a form of self-love and it feels far gentler, more helpful and more loving.

Example;

❌Judgey self-discipline❌
If you don't get up at 5am tomorrow and go to the gym, you lack the drive and motivation to reach your health and wellness goals

YUCK! Amiright?

💛Gentle self-discipline💛
My health and wellness goals are important and because I love and respect myself, I'm going to get up early tomorrow as planned and go to the gym

Do you see the difference?

And I don't know about you, but shaming myself has rarely led to increased success or motivation. In fact, I'm much more likely to give up going to the gym altogether after a shaming session from my ego.

So how do you feel about a loving re-frame of your stories around self-discipline? I'd love to know.
