We’ve teamed up with Dr Alex Baird from the University of Bedfordshire to carry out some important research into the inclusion and experiences of trans and q***r people in sport.

🎥 Rainbow Run 2026 — now featured in Scene Magazine! 🏳️‍🌈🏃‍♀️

Want to relive the colour, community and energy of this year’s Rainbow Run?

Scene Magazine were there at Hove Park capturing the action and chatting to some of the amazing people who made this year so special — including Mayor of Brighton & Hove Cllr Theresa Fowler, Scott Oakley and our fabulous host Cherry Bomb. 🌈✨

With 500+ runners and around 400 spectators, it really was our biggest and most colourful Rainbow Run yet! 💖

Join us this Wednesday as Brighton & Hove Frontrunners teams up with Brighton Trans Pride for a special collaborative run. Everyone in the LGBTQ+ community is welcome – whether you’re a seasoned runner, just starting out, or simply fancy joining one of our walking groups.

📍 Meet: King Alfred Leisure Centre (seafront side)
🕖 Time: 7:00pm
💷 Cost: FREE

With a range of running and walking groups, there’s something for everyone. Come along, meet new people, get active, and enjoy a safe, welcoming and inclusive evening with the LGBTQ+ community.

🍻 After the run, we’ll be heading to a local venue for a social get-together, so if you’d like to stay for a drink, some food or a chat, we’d love to see you there too.

Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, you’ll receive a warm Brighton & Hove Frontrunners welcome.

✨ WOW… what an incredible evening last night! 🌈

Our biggest Brighton & Hove Rainbow Run yet! 🏃‍🌈🏃‍♂️

We welcomed over 500 runners, plus an estimated 300–500 supporters who joined us in the park and our event village, creating an amazing atmosphere from start to finish.

A huge THANK YOU goes to everyone who made the evening so special:

💖 Our incredible volunteers – this event simply wouldn’t happen without you.
🎤 Our fabulous hosts Cherry Bomb and Dame Burley Chassis, who kept the energy high all evening.
🧠 Our Charity of the Year LGBTQ Mental Health alongside our guest charity partners Allsorts Youth Project and Brighton & Sussex Fostering Services.
☕ Our fantastic vendors Coffee Kick Collective - Sussex, MASH GANG, and Lush Brighton, who kept everyone fuelled and smiling.
🎶 The brilliant Some Voices Choir Some # for filling the park with incredible music.
🚑 And, of course, our amazing volunteer paramedics from St John Ambulance who helped keep everyone safe throughout the event.

To every runner, supporter, sponsor, volunteer, entertainer, vendor and partner—thank you for making this our biggest and best Rainbow Run yet. We can’t wait to share just how much we’ve raised for MindOut very soon! 🌈❤️

The Frontrunners community truly came out in force, and it was incredible to see so many clubs represented.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us from Glasgow FrontRunners, Bristol Frontrunners, Manchester Frontrunners – LGBTQ+ running club in Manchester, UK, London Frontrunners, Newcastle Frontrunners Bournemouth Frontrunners 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏳️‍🌈, and of course our fantastic hosts, Brighton & Hove Frontrunners. 💙

The countdown is almost over, and we’re looking forward to seeing you for an unforgettable evening.

🕠 Registration opens: 5:30pm
🎤 Welcome speech & warm-up: 6:45pm
🏃 Race starts: 7:00pm

Once you’ve crossed the finish line, the fun doesn’t stop! Stay and enjoy our fantastic event village with great vendors, grab some raffle tickets for your chance to win some amazing prizes, and relax to the sounds of our brilliant DJ.
