Houghton Town 5 - 2 Middleston Moor

Lads turned up short again with a few injuries and people away. The opposition were the same.
We had the majority of possession and a good few chance early on. The opposition did take the lead after a mix up at the back.
Westy pulled us back into it with a peach of a header.

The game opened up from there and progressed into a comfortable win.

Houghton Town FC 4-2 Ouston

Good result for the lads especially being low on numbers.
We started off well scoring early. Tough surface to play on, the pitch was tight. Started to get a little frustrated at each other but the lads stuck at it and came out victorious.

We go again tomorrow against Middleston Moor at home.

Sunday saw us take on Sherburn in the league. Two strong sides pitted against each other. A very closely contested game and the result was taken out of both team’s hands.

Houghton Town 3 - 2 Ferryhill Dynamoes

Long way to go on a Thursday night for a 6:15 kick off.
Started the game very well and capitalised on our chances to go 3-0 up.
Ferryhill got into the game which was to be expected.
We had a good few chances go begging as well in the second half.
Nice to have 3 points on the board.

Sunday saw us take on our local rivals. Wasn’t too much in the game and got a little scrappy towards the end but that’s to be expected.
The game ended in a 2-0 defeat, unfortunately.
