Thanks to our friends at Gateway Wheelers Wheely Fantastic Cycling for confirming the track and cycling skills area on Houghton Rectory Playing field is complete.
Letβs get cycling at Houghton Rectory Park.

FREE LEARN TO RIDE A BIKE SESSIONS
Ideal for anyone aged 5 years and older including adults who want to learn to ride a bike.
This session teaches you the skills and confidence required to ride a bike with pedals independently.
You will learn how to:
Β· Mount
Β· Dismount
Β· Balance
Β· Steer
Β· Brake
Β· Pedal
Please note any participant under the age of 18 years only must be accompanied by an adult. Ideally one child per adult.

DR BIKE β FREE BIKE HEALTH CHECK (MOT) AND SMALL REPAIRS
Bring your bike along and weβll give you a health check report on it along with making small adjustments/repairs, including gear indexing, brake adjustments, cable replacement, oiling of chain, air in tyres, puncture repair β please bring your own inner tube.
PLEASE NOTE β This is not a full bike service; however, your health check report will tell you if any major repairs need to be made.
Bikes should be dropped off at 1.30pm and will be ready for collection at 3.30pm
