Well he wasn’t the fastest man on grass 😆😆

Billy has described this weekend as his “worst racing ever” but the boy hasn’t half learnt a lot!

From racing on tarmac in his micro f2 and the few autograss meetings he’s had on dry ground, this weekend was wet, muddy, slippy and something completely new for him!

Heat 1 - 6th
Heat 2 - 8th
Heat 3 - 8th

From driving on the slippiest part of the track and spinning out to changing gear too early, Billy had a lot to learn to get up there at the front!

Junior open he drove really well which gave his confidence a much needed boost 💥

He got a place in the B final by luck, and he drove amazing 👏🏻 within the first lap he got into 1st place and held it to lap 3 … until … the car behind got a black flag but Billy thought it was for him so he pulled off 😣🫣😂

Another learning curve 🤪

All in all a very valuable weekend and he only got better as it went on 👏🏻

Next weekend, nationals 😬

Billy is so excited to be racing in the Fastest Man on Grass competition next weekend! 🌱🏎️💨

It’s set to be a brilliant family day out, with plenty to see and do, and of course lots of exciting racing to watch! 🙌 Racing over two days, Sunday and Monday

If you’re free over the bank holiday weekend, come along, enjoy the day and cheer him on from the sidelines! 📣❤️ Your support means so much!

Heat 2 - 1st 🥇 but the disqualified for tapping his wing when celebrating
Heat 3 - DNF was told to pull into the infield midway through the race but we’re not sure why

Car Parking, Please keep the outside of the track and also the triangle of grass outside the gates empty and park in the official Car Park. We will now be charging for parking at £2, please bring cash and the correct change. We keep the triangle empty to keep the locals and council happy.

Great day @ Scarborough Autograss Club with a cheeky fish and chips in Filey last night 🐟 🍟

First heat got red flagged Billy hit the barriers on turn two but got back out on a rerun and got a 3rd even though his car had taken a hit and knocked the tracking out by mile

Thought he was tired his first two heats as he was hanging back abit but came to realise his master cylinder was holding his brakes on slightly 🤦 blame his dad 🤠🤠.
