Perfect conditions for a fun show jumping rally at Pachesham EC this morning. Welcome to new coach Murphy Matthews, who will also be coaching for us at Gasstons XC on Sunday 4 October.

Members, please do remember to sign up for rallies sooner, rather than later, it takes a lot of organising and co-ordination with members, coaches and venues. We try to accommodate you all, but do need to close rallies a few days before to set everything up. This is busy time of year as the weather is cooler and the ground condition much improved so we will be running a lot of rallies:

Monday 26th October - NOW OPEN FOR SIGN UP - Members hack rally at Clandon Park, a unique chance to hack around the Clandon Park estate (accompanied and unaccompanied groups, parents welcome too). Entries open next week.
Saturday 31st October - On the hoof ride (not a rally)
Sunday 1st November - Arena Eventing at LMEQ
Sunday 1st November - Area 11 BAH Spring Festival Dressage qualifier at Felbridge

Volunteer opportunities for "Sunshine Tour Championships 2026" are now open.
After so many of you gave us great feedback after volunteering with us between your classes in 2025 we are rolling this opportunity out again for 2026.

You don't need to be competing to volunteer, come along and be part of the championship, see the competitions, enjoy the shopping.

Congratulations to Rosie C, placing 8th out of 150 competitors in the Regional PC80 Show Jumping Championship class at Rectory Farm. Well done!

Fantastic result for Keira and Tess at the Regional Champs at Rectory Farm yesterday, winning their arena in the Grassroots Dressage championship. Great score of over 73%, putting them through to the ride off, where they placed 10th. What an achievement.

As the summer holidays draw to a close, we've been busy organising the calendar of rallies and events to take us to the end of the year.

We have lots of new rallies now open for sign up, and some more dates to add including more flatwork and XC:

Please also note that our branch is hosting the Area 11 BAH Show Jumping at Merrist Wood on 6th December, classes from 50 cms upwards for individuals and team. All classes 70 and above are all qualifiers for the BAH Championship at the end of March 2027. We'd love to have lots of members and teams competing and will be needing help on the day too. So mark your calendars. Schedule will shortly be available.

Members, our next rally is on Saturday 29th August at St Teresa's EC (a rare Saturday rally there). Show Jumping exercises with Jackie Stevens. Please do sign up so we can work out groups and times -

Cobham & Wimbledon Summer SJ rally with Jackie Stevens - St Teresa's Equestrian - 29th Aug 26 opens on 29th August 2026. This South East based horse event will take place at Beech Avenue, RH5 6ST.

It's cooling down! We are running the Pony Club Road Rider Training and Test on Wednesday 19 August at Sunray Farm House (afternoon) with Lucy and Ruby.

You have options to bring your pony (there will be unmounted training before riding), share a pony with a friend or borrow a pony (see rally sign up options).

Any ponies coming on site must bring passport and with up to date vaccination record.

For anyone considering training for C Test this is pre requisite for C Test. Please sign up by Sunday, so we can send out the pre-read/video and details.

Cobham & Wimbledon Riding Road Safety training & test - Sunray Farm House - 19th Aug 26 - 2pm start opens on 19th August 2026. This based horse event will take place at .
