RLSS UK’s Drowning Prevention Week is an annual, water safety campaign designed to educate children and young adults in water safety and lifesaving skills.
Drowning Prevention Week educates children aged 5 to 17 each June with crucial water safety advice just before the summer
holidays, when young people are outdoors more and need these skills and knowledge most, so everyone can enjoy water safely.
In accordance with the RLSS Drowning Prevention Week we shall be running our water safety lesson on 15th to 21st June
Please can your child/ren wear their normal swimming shorts/costume with an old pair of shorts and a T - shirt over the top. Please note that no hats or goggles will be allowed for this session unless for medical reasons.
This is a very important event for both pupils and parents to enjoy. For more information, please take a look at the RLSS Drowning Prevention Week website.
