Congratulations to Steve Matt and Mark - They did it!

Steve, Matt and Mark set off at 4am this morning to play 100 holes of golf for their uncle, who was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease last year.

After an incredible 12.5hrs of play and only 5 shots over par, they successfully completed their challenge

They are doing this for the MND Association, who has been there for their family every step of the way. Their goal was £5,000 and we are pleased to announce they have currently raised over £9,000!

One week to go.

On 18th June, three brothers — Steve, Matt and Mark — will tee off at 4am and take on a 100 Hole Golf Marathon right here at Slinfold. That's 18 hours on their feet, a marathon's worth of walking, and over 1,400 shots between them.

They're doing it for their uncle, diagnosed last year with Motor Neurone Disease. Their goal is £5,000 for the MND Association — and they're nearly there. Every donation in the next seven days counts.

Meet Billy Stott — our first ever Young Golf Ambassador. 🏆⛳

Billy has been playing at Slinfold since the age of five, hitting his first golf balls on our driving range. Fast forward to 2025 and he's the under-7 boys Champion of Champions World Championship winner at Lough Erne, Ireland.

He's eight years old.

We're incredibly proud to have supported Billy's journey with weekly lessons from our PGA-qualified coaches — and we've now gifted him free junior membership to help him chase his dream of turning professional.

As our General Manager Luke Blacker says: "Rory McIlroy better watch out!" 😄

Billy's story is a reminder of what's possible when you hand a child a golf club and give them a place to belong. Junior golfers are the future of this game — and they're very welcome here.

What a fantastic day at Slinfold for Juniors

Today, Slinfold proudly hosted the Junior Sussex Development Tour on our Academy Course, welcoming an incredible 42 young golfers aged 4–16 years.

Congratulations to all the players who took part and to our prize winners. We are especially delighted that two members of the Slinfold team came away with 1st place in the Under16 categories:

🥇 Ethan – Under-16 Boys

A huge well done to both of them on their outstanding performances. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the way they represented Slinfold.
