Last week I jumped onto the stage and started by asking the audience a question:
Would You Walk Barefoot On The Grass In November?
Was I brave? Not really, in my corporate career I did this all the time.
But this time was different.
I was sharing my own personal story (and that takes courage and a little grit).
I talked about The Lurch and how we fling ourselves in a 1,000 different directions looking for answers as to why we feel ‘off’, too stressed, too tired, too flat, too anxious, and how we outsource our wellbeing.
In my story, it reached a stage where intervention was needed. But through the GP, therapy and coaching I was able to find a new way, a thriving way.
And, that is why I do what I do.
I guide others to find their centre, find their balance, so that not only does their mind and their body feel stronger and more resilient, but their actions and decisions are coming from a grounded place, a place of clarity, an authentic place.
I’m on a mission to stop the lurch!
I repeated the walking barefoot on the grass in November question at the end of my talk and the answers were very different!
I couldn’t have attempted doing this without the expert guidance and raw talent of at and a group of women whose unwavering gentle support for each other was huge.
Would I do it again?
Hell yeah!!
