Happy New Year! I don't normally share information like this, but it's been a monumental rollercoaster.

Three years ago I was on the edge.

Literally.

I was running a successful business, had three lovely children and a supportive partner.

But something wasn't right. I tried fad diets, 'sins' and 'points', food abstinence and all the famous so-called 'solutions.' There was a piece missing.

I'd got really absorbed into the world of personal training and studying nutrition for the mind by following people on this platform or the other...

And then it clicked.

I wanted to help people the way that they had helped me. So I spent 2 years retraining.

I lost loads of weight, improved my self-esteem and reconnected with myself.

Most importantly, I made a decision that I wanted to do things differently.

I wanted to take it off the virtual world we'd been living in since the pandemic and meet people face-to-face, to reach out to them and to help them unlock the secret to a healthy mind and body...

Without the arrogance and pomposity that so-called online coaches throw out all the time.

You can’t leave the table until you have cleared your plate!”

How many times was this said to us when we were little? How many times do we say it to our own little ones?

This is learned behaviour.

But learned behaviour can be undone.

You are in charge of what you eat and how much. Start to practise acknowledging that feeling of being satisfied and comfortably full when eating and then STOP.

It’s pretty empowering 💃

My favourite picture from voting day.

People are so empowered by their political views and they deem it to be so important. In fact, statistically, very few of us sit on the fence when it comes to our ‘political outlook’.

So, why do so many of us sit on the fence when it comes to our physical health?

When we sit on the fence, we take the attention away from our health.

When we sit on the fence, we make unhealthy choices without thinking them through.

Do me a favour… make yourself a promise that you won’t sit on the fence today.

Step off of the fence and pay attention to your health… don’t make any changes yet, just have an awareness…

Jump of the fence and pay attention. Your body and mind will thank you later. 😉
