‘Make a clearing in the dense forest of your life.’ Martha Postlewaid

In order to listen, to be present, to witness, to be available physically and emotionally to another, we have to make space.

Our lives are full. When we make room we can see a little clearer, we can notice and respond a little kinder. Maybe the response is quietness and full attention to whatever is in front of us in that moment to watch and listen.

Can you listen fully, without wanting to fill the silence, without waiting to share your thoughts or eagerly giving a point of view?

What do you notice when you do?

Is your teenager “fine,” or are they just masking their stress? Perhaps their anxiety is hiding behind anger or withdrawal?

We are opening doors to our 6-week small group course designed specifically for teenagers navigating anxiety, stress, and school pressure.

Held conveniently after school/college, this close-knit group gives teens the practical tools they need to:

* Regulate big emotions
* Increase self-awareness
* Connect with peers

Note: While we use gentle movement and mindfulness techniques, absolutely no prior yoga experience is necessary.

Give your teen a softer place to land and the tools to breathe easier. Spaces are strictly limited to keep the group small and supportive.

 🗓️ Starting Monday 12th October 4 – 5:30pm

📍  Horsham, West Sussex

🌟 Max 6-8 students (to keep the environment safe and intimate)

🌿 Investment £120 for the 6 week course

Please DM for further information and to secure your space.

Reflection on being and becoming, the attachment to the becoming, whether that’s a yoga pose, career, life goals, what’s next to achieve etc.

The place of being eludes me at times and finding quiet places in nature is definitely my sanctuary when life feels hard. Connecting to the sounds, smells and beauty is deeply comforting for me.

I would love to hear your top tips ✨

Reconnection in a turbulent world.

While the warm weather prevails, it’s hard to imagine wintering. The softness of jumpers, wholesome food, cosy warm duvets and candle lit yoga. This January we’re slowing down again.

We warmly invite you to join us for a weekend of coming back to yourself. A space to rest, time for self enquiry with somatic & restorative yoga, and reflection through heart centred coaching.

Our all-inclusive venue is set within the Surrey countryside. Private en-suite room with delicious, wholesome meals throughout from Ladywell’s experienced chef. Space to walk, to sit and to be.

If you’re curious to explore your hidden layers and how to resource yourself please get in touch. We would be delighted to send you details of our early bird offer and securing your space with us x x

🌀These shapes, asana’s, are not just stretches. They are a resource to enable the body to release. Release the tension, stress and grief and to influence the breath, mind and nervous system.

✨We can encourage a sense of lightness, find stability when life feels overwhelming, quieten the mind chatter and encourage introspection, all from our practices.

🩷The compassionate time on the mat prepares us for the world off the mat and all the gaps in between. It helps us meet the challenges of life with understanding, enabling us to meet deep emotions with agency.

☀️You are welcome to join me for weekly classes, workshops, retreats and 1:2:1 yoga therapy, where we explore more deeply the relationship of the body, breath and mind.

Welcome August, the season of the first harvest and an opportunity for us to reflect on what is ripening for us. We’re sitting between the summer solstice and the autumn equinox, another transition.

These seasonal transitions may illuminate areas of our life that we can reflect more deeply on; the seeds we planted earlier in the year, what grew, what withered, what we lost and what we’ve gathered.

When we’re able to make space, ease back, rest and observe we may give ourselves and opportunity to feel the impacts of these transitions in our body. If the transitions have been significant it takes a while for the body to find an anchor again, while the brain finds new pathways to navigate the changes and rewire our internal map.

Gentle practise, mindful breathing, stillness and meditation all help the healing process of the transitions. We know this, but perhaps find it hard to prioritise. I wonder if we could value ourselves highly enough to incorporate some of this over this next seasonal change?

The most wonderful day retreat to connect and share time together. Held in the loving space of Kim and Lee have created a beautiful environment that encourages peace and tranquility.

I offered somatic and restorative yoga to bring our bodies into a state of deep rest. Relaxing the nervous system as a perfect antidote to the hectic and sometimes exhausting lives we lead.

We laughed, connected, ate, enjoyed saunas, hot tubs, cold pool swimming and sunshine.

Most of all, we appreciated each other and the time we had honoured for ourselves to heal and rest.

I am so deeply grateful to everyone who came and continues to support these wonderful offerings. They wouldn’t be possible without you 🤍
