We are looking to appoint casual staff to work in the University Sports Centre to provide fitness inductions and a variety of activity classes for students, members and the general public. Successful candidates should have knowledge of health-related fitness issues (including cardiovascular, resistance and free weight operations) and a NVQ Level II in Gym Instruction or equivalent.
Experience of working in a gym or leisure centre and of delivering fitness instruction is essential.
Hours of work will be as directed by the Sports Facilities Manager and will be allocated on a casual basis and in accordance with the requirements of the department by mutual agreement. Allocated hours of work will normally fall within the Sports Centre opening hours.
