Busy day at the club today, first T20 game starts at 10:00 am , the second semi final starting around 1pm with the final to start around 4pm. Cafe and bar open all day, DJ set starting on the decked area around 6pm, weather looks ok , should be a good day 🏏🏏 🕺 💃

🏏 HALL PARK GIRLS & WOMENS– AUTUMN CRICKET IS COMING SOON! 💗

We’re really excited to keep the girls playing through the autumn with our U11 Girls Dynamos Programme.

📍 Abbey Grange School Sports Hall
📅 Starts TUESDAY 6th October
⏰ 6:00–7:00pm
👧 Ages 8–11
🏏 8 weeks – no session during half term
💷 £32 for the full programme

The sessions will be fun, fast and game-based, helping the girls keep developing their cricket, confidence and friendships over the winter. All abilities welcome, whether they’ve played lots of cricket or are still quite new to the game.

🏏 AND ONE FOR THE WOMEN!

Straight afterwards, 7:00–8:00pm, we’re also running Women’s Cricket Coaching with Jake Littleton. £4 a session.

Whether you’re completely new to cricket, have played before, or simply fancy giving it a go, come along. No experience needed and all abilities welcome. 🙌

Tuesday 21 July- Senior and U18 training.
Wednesday 22 July The Under 18 conclude their season with a game against Otley Cricket Club

Friday 24 July - U9 girls and boys training plus All Stars 🌟 U11 and U13 training.

Saturday 25 July -First team play Tong Park Esholt in a crucial match for us and
Sunday 26 July our Grey Foxes team play the silver tykes with a place in the semi finals up for grabs.

Clubhouse open for all cricket as always and all live sport on our TVs 🏏🏏🏆.

Monday 13 July - We are hosting Scotland v Midlands over 45 game from 1pm.

Tuesday 14 July- Senior and U18 training.

Wednesday 15 July England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 V Argentina 🇦🇷 in the clubhouse from 8pm. Please liaise with @⁨Katie⁩ to book your tables.

Thursday 16 July -U11-13 training

Friday 17 July - U9 girls and boys training plus All Stars 🌟 and U15 v Thackley Cricket Club

Saturday 18 July -Second team play Rawdon Cricket Club

Sunday 19 July our U13s play Otley Cricket Club in the morning and then it’s the World Cup final again liaise with @⁨Katie⁩ if you want to reserve any tables.

Sunday 12 July the big one as our U11’s play Old Leos Cricket Club in the cup final (match starts at 10 am) 🏆🏆and then third team play North Leeds Cricket Club at 2pm.

We are open today from 9:30 as our U13’s play Menston followed by the First team who play Birstall in the Heavy Woollen Cup

Clubhouse open for all day for food and drinks, TVs showing all live sport.

Results from This Weekend

All three teams were in action this weekend, with some fantastic individual performances and milestones along the way.

The 1st XI travelled to Bilton and pushed the league leaders all the way in a hard-fought contest. Despite a narrow defeat, there were excellent half-centuries from both Rishi Limbechaya and Tayden Smit.

The 2nd XI hosted North Leeds and secured a convincing victory. A superb century from Tom Spencer, backed up by four wickets from Chris Spivy, helped the team continue their push towards the top of the table.

It was a tough Sunday for the 3rd XI, who travelled to Calverley and were bowled out for 69. Not the result they were looking for, but they’ll be eager to bounce back when they take on Rawdon this weekend.

A challenging weekend overall, but plenty of positives to take from some outstanding individual performances.
All three teams are back in action again this weekend.
