Results from This Weekend

All three teams were in action this weekend, with some fantastic individual performances and milestones along the way.

The 1st XI travelled to Bilton and pushed the league leaders all the way in a hard-fought contest. Despite a narrow defeat, there were excellent half-centuries from both Rishi Limbechaya and Tayden Smit.

The 2nd XI hosted North Leeds and secured a convincing victory. A superb century from Tom Spencer, backed up by four wickets from Chris Spivy, helped the team continue their push towards the top of the table.

It was a tough Sunday for the 3rd XI, who travelled to Calverley and were bowled out for 69. Not the result they were looking for, but they’ll be eager to bounce back when they take on Rawdon this weekend.

A challenging weekend overall, but plenty of positives to take from some outstanding individual performances.
All three teams are back in action again this weekend.

A historic day for the club as we hosted our very first all-girls inter-club matches.

With both an Under 6s and Under 9s game taking place, it was fantastic to see 24 girls representing the club and enjoying their cricket.

An incredibly successful day that will go down in the club’s history. Seeing so many girls out on the field, learning, competing, and having fun is exactly what grassroots cricket is all about.

A huge thank you to all of our coaches and volunteers for organising, scoring, umpiring, and helping make the day such a success.

Here’s to many more matches in the future, with plenty of friendly fixtures to come!
