This weeks saw the clubs short mat season come to a close.
Thursday evening saw the finals of the HBC short mat competitions played.
The triples finalists were Ray Ayers, Barbara Ayers & Wayne Burrage against Mick Dale, Chris Warnes & Brian West.
Ray, Barbara & Wayne coming out on top after what was a well fought close match.
The pairs final was contested for by Ray & Barbara Ayers playing Chris Walsgrove & Steve Beckett. Ray & Barbara won yet another close match. An even closer match saw Sally Bates & Ray Ayers play for the clubs singles title, with one end to go there was only one point in it, overall honours eventually going to Ray Ayers.
Well done to all.

Great News. Ray and Barbara Ayers are winners of The City of Norwich League pairs competition for the second year running.

Another lovely afternoon at Horsford Bowls Club yesterday to celebrate Dot's 90th Birthday. A lovely afternoon/evening was had by all Dot's family and friends
