I am shining ✨

Let’s talk about celebrating your own small successes. Today I felt so proud of my self, upon reflection I’ve noticed that I’ve done multiple things that would have, say a year ago, induced so much anxiety and stress. These things may be tiny but for me it’s a triumph and I’m going to let my self know that I’m proud of me.

Some of my favourite moments are when it’s just you and me χ

To be a yogi means to take part in a peaceful rebellion. Yoga and mindfulness have now transcended obscurity and become mainstream; I am the master of this rebellion. Yoga is my liberation, it’s through yoga that a detached awareness as an observer of the mind is developed, I have come to understand me on a different level. Yoga is my independence, we live in a puzzle: a world that is hyper-connected and isolating at the same time, but yoga is the path back to union of the body and mind, finding friendship with my inner self, noticing I am enough, I find confidence and freedom in my solitude.

Ouch my back 😖 … is something we say far to often. Guilty as charged, as you can see my left shoulder bulges, this inflammation is unexplained and used to caused me so much pain. It wasn’t till I started Pilates that the pain in my back faded, thank goodness! Pilates improves the mobility of the spine by treating each vertabrae as an individual bone, emphasizing sequencing of the bones of the spine to stack on top of each other in the correct alignment. From understanding the importance of a natural spine and strengthening the muscles around my spine to protect the back has done wonders for me 😌 if you would like to join us please get in contact with absolute yoga and Pilates tagged or if you would like a 121 to really focus in on your needs please don’t hesitate to drop me a message 🩷 x
