A wonderful end of season presentation was held last week for our Junior section. 💛🖤

Our juniors have had such a fantastic season, with some great training sessions and superb results in the Lincs Junior Friendly Hockey League.

Our President George Steadman was on hand with Lead Coach Jason to present the children with their end of season awards.

Huge thanks as always go to Jason, Ben, all the coaches and all our other local Clubs and their junior sections for a wonderful 2025-2026 season.

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our teammate and friend, Sue Gauntlett.

Sue was an important part of our Club and will be remembered for her kindness, humour, dedication, and the positive impact she had on everyone around her. Her passion for hockey and support for those around her will never be forgotten.

Sue was the kind of teammate everyone hoped to have, and her absence will be felt deeply by all of us. The memories we shared on and off the pitch will stay with us forever.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Sue’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest peacefully, Sue. You will always be part of our team and in our hearts. 💛🖤

The inaugural Lincolnshire Kids Badger/Vixen Hockey Games kicked off this morning with 3 great matches between ourselves,
Grimsby Hockey Club & Alford & District Hockey Club

A fantastic time was had by all 🏑 and it was such a great introduction to adult hockey 🏑👍🏼

Many thanks to all that attended, everyone who umpired and to all the adults who played and supported the juniors, your experience is truly valuable and very much appreciated 💛🖤

Cannot begin to describe how unbelievably proud I am of our Junior section. They completed the Lincs Friendly League Tournament for this season today, with a trip to Grimsby. Some great sportsmanship, camaraderie and superb hockey all round 💛🖤

Many thanks to all our coaches that give up their Sundays and our parent volunteers. I couldn’t make this a success without you.

Thanks to all the other local clubs that take part and make this such a success.

Our Junior club would just like to say a huge thank you to all the people of Horncastle and our surrounding areas and also to Tesco Horncastle with their Groundwork’s blue token 🔵🔵 initiative.
With all your help support we were recently successful in winning a grant which so far has paid for a full new kit and a new helmet for our fantastic Junior goalkeepers 👍🏼 We
still have some mini goals and other equipment bits to purchase, but the new safety kit for the children was our main priority 💛🖤
