Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, we are delighted to continue delivering our award-winning Ageless & Agile project across Horncastle, Louth, Mablethorpe and Skegness.

Without this support, we would not have been able to continue providing these valuable community sessions that help people stay active, connected and engaged.

🏊‍♀️ Why are swimming lessons so important? 🏊‍♂️

Swimming lessons do far more than teach children how to swim — they help build confidence, awareness and vital lifesaving skills that stay with them for life.

At Magna Vitae, our WaterWise swimming lessons support swimmers of all ages and abilities, from babies and toddlers right through to adults, helping everyone feel safer and more confident in the water.

Lessons teach essential skills including:
✅ Floating and treading water
✅ Safe entry and exit techniques
✅ Water confidence and awareness
✅ Personal survival skills
✅ How to stay calm in an emergency

Living in a coastal community, learning to swim is an especially important life skill and helps children enjoy water safely and responsibly.

Plus, WaterWise members also receive FREE unlimited general swimming across all Magna Vitae venues, helping swimmers practise and build confidence outside of lessons too.

This Drowning Prevention Week, let’s celebrate the importance of learning to swim and helping families stay safer around water.
