🏁🤣 MEET THE TEAM – STACY “BAND SLINGER” MARRIOTT 🤣🏁

👑 Track Position:
pit paddock mouth ⁩, intermittent lap scorer, and full-time racing band distributor 💪😂

Basically if you need something at Smallfield, Stacy either knows where it is… or will shout at someone until it appears 🤣

⏳ How long have you been involved in racing?
Since she was a baby 👶🏁

Her dad raced at Smallfield with The Rats and Mr Men, before Stacy started racing juniors at around 13, then moved into prods and eventually had a go in bangers 💥

So racing’s not just a hobby at this point — it’s basically a family disease 😂

🔥 Favourite part of working at Smallfield?
“The social and the laugh.”

And honestly she’s right… nowhere else can you spend all day arguing with idiots covered in mud and still call it a good weekend 🍻💥

Plus getting to watch her son Harry race makes it all worth it ❤️🏁

🏁 Favourite Smallfield memory?
Watching Harry race on his own for the first time at his Grandad’s memorial ❤️

Probably one of the few moments at Smallfield where people cried for a reason OTHER than getting hit too hard 💥😂

Turn 2 Marshal aka Deck chair bandit💥

Which means Mark spends most race days watching people arrive into Turn 2 far too fast and wondering how some drivers actually passed a driving test whilst lounging in his chair😂

⏳ How long have you been involved in racing?
“As long as I can remember.”

So basically Mark’s been around racing longer than some of the cars have been scrap metal 👴🏁

🔥 Favourite part of working at Smallfield?
The banter and camaraderie ❤️

Because nowhere else can grown adults shout abuse at each other all day then stand together eating burgers like one big dysfunctional family 🍔😂

The Brett Fry meeting ❤️

Big atmosphere, packed racing and proper Smallfield emotion 👏🏁

🎸 Something interesting about yourself?
Mark’s a heavy metal-loving old man… with an unhealthy weakness for cakes 🎂🤘

Which basically means Jamie wanders around the track looking busy while avoiding any actual heavy lifting 😂

⏳ How long have you been involved in racing?

Since 1996 🏁

So he’s been around racing long enough to witness terrible driving, questionable hairstyles and more bent cars than the local scrapyard 👴💥

🔥 Favourite part of working at Smallfield?

“The people at the track.” ❤️

Because nowhere else can you spend an entire day taking the p**s out of your mates and still call it “working” 🍻🤣

🏆 Favourite Smallfield memory?

Winning the SEO 👏🏁

Which is impressive… especially considering he’s now more commonly known as “Jamie 2nd Place” Clifton😂🥈
