We’re Down, We’re Gone! 🏁

Another season complete at the field and what a season it was!

Across every meeting this year we have seen some fantastic racing across all our non contact formulas and absolutely mad racing across our contact formulas!

It’s been our most challenging year to date but we have still enjoyed every second of it! We wish we could do it all year round and we are gutted we only get 8 days with you all each season!

Yesterday saw the retirement of Steve Beynon, our long suffering commentator. As you can see from the picture below he sure looked happy to see the back of us, but we are all gutted to see the back of him. But, I’m sure he will make a return at some point. Thanks Steve for being part of the track furniture for decades! It won’t be the same without you!

Thank you as always to all the other members of our long suffering “A Team”! A gang of randomers that have become part of our racing family forever. We really wouldn’t know what to do without any of you! You all play such a huge part in every race day and I truly believe none of you get the credit you deserve. So a big thanks team!

For now… we prep for the next season ahead and we are already so excited to start all over again!

Smallfield Raceway Presentation evening!

Friday 13th November 7pm - 11pm

Three course meal, trophy presentation and DJ

Adults £45 each
Children under 12 £22.50

Felbridge Hotel , East Grinstead.

We will be selling tickets and taking payment this Sunday at the track. All tickets must be paid for by end of day Sunday to secure your place at our presentation evening next month!

Please let us know asap if you’d like tickets. Cash and cards accepted Sunday for payment .

We will also need to know any dietary requirements on booking.

🏁 THE FINAL MEETING OF THE 2026 SEASON! 🏁

It’s hard to believe we’re already here… Sunday 11th October marks our Grand Finale and the final race meeting of the season at Smallfield Raceway.

After a year of dust, crashes, close racing, laughs, questionable decisions and plenty of unforgettable moments, we’re getting ready to finish 2026 the only way we know how — with one last full day of racing. 💥

This meeting will also be a particularly special one for us, as it marks the retirement of our long-standing commentator, Steve Beynon. 🎙️🏁

Steve has been a familiar voice at Smallfield for many years, calling the action, keeping everyone informed and adding his own personality to countless race days. For many of our drivers, staff and spectators, his voice has simply been part of the Smallfield experience.

So alongside celebrating the end of another racing season, we’ll also be taking the opportunity to say a huge THANK YOU to Steve for all the time, commitment and memories he has given the raceway over the years. ❤️

The seventh meeting done and a long day at the field!

A fantastic day for our Banger World dirt Final and congratulations to our new World Dirt Champion 727 Sonny Dering, a very well earned win in one of the best races we’ve seen for a world dirt for a good few years!

The B2B were extremely entertaining too and we eventually got there with our “non contacts”!

We can’t believe it’s the grand finale in three weeks time! The season has flown before our eyes and we already can’t wait to start planning 2027!

Thank you especially to our dedicated team today, if they aren’t physically punished enough on the ground running the place they are also verbally punished with disgruntled fans! We have a brilliant team behind us and it’s down to them and their time that the field is what it is. it’s a sport of love not money and we can’t thank the team enough for the amount of love they pour into the track every meeting and all the time in between!

See you all on the 11th October for our Grand Finale! A day full of fun with our final points races and our yearly fun races to end the season!
