It only takes a few passionate people to make an extraordinary difference.

In this case, that was Spencer Branson, Anthony Jupp and Kieran Smythe, who brought together three local rival clubs and an incredible community with one shared goal – to raise vital funds for a beautiful little girl, Olivia, and her family as they face the biggest battle of their lives against a very rare and inoperable brain tumour.

Their vision, dedication and countless hours of hard work turned an idea into something truly special, reminding us all what can be achieved when a community comes together.

These three have enormous hearts, but so do every single volunteer, player, coach, helper, sponsor, donor and supporter who gave their time, energy and generosity to make the day such an incredible success.

Together, you showed that football is about so much more than the game.

*Horley Town FC Annual Family Fun Day*

This Saturday (25th July) is Horley Town FC's annual summer family fun day. This is completely *FREE* of charge to all to attend. This is an event geared towards bringing the local community together and showcasing the club ahead of the start of the new season!

Horley Town against Tunbridge Wells is the main attraction of the day, kicking off at *3pm* however there’s lots to do around the edge of the pitch for the whole family from *1:30pm* including:
- Bouncy castle slide and inflatables
- Fairground rides
- Beat the goalie
- Cookie and cake stall
- Ice Cream Man
- Colouring
- Hair braiding
- Face painting
- Pictures with the 2025/26 play-off trophy
- Lots of local business stalls

Bring the kids down and cheer on the first team together, who are finishing off their pre-season schedule in preparation for playing in the Isthmian League for the first time ever!

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a mixed-ability, mid-level team focused on:

Yesterday was such an incredible day! It was wonderful to have Olivia and her family with us to kick off the tournament and see our community come together for such a special cause.

Today, a few of our less youthful players are definitely feeling aches and pains they weren’t expecting!

Congratulations to Horley Town Youth, who stormed to victory and lifted the trophy. In hindsight, the word Youth in their name should probably have been a clue!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the event. The encouragement from the sidelines was fantastic, but what really blew us away was your generosity. The number of raffle tickets sold, auction bids placed, and donations made was simply phenomenal.

Our incredible volunteers went above and beyond all day, and we genuinely couldn’t have done it without them. A special thank you also goes to the Horley Lions food truck team, whose fantastic support helped raise even more money for Olivia and her family.

We’re still adding everything up and finalising the total amount raised, and we can’t wait to share the final figure with you as soon as we can.

Thank you once again for proving what an amazing community we have. Three local teams put rivalries aside for one day, united by one goal—and together, you made a real difference.

Today we’re coming together as one community with one goal: to make a difference for Olivia and her family.

This is about so much more than football. Together, we’re raising vital funds to support Olivia and her family while showing them the incredible love and support of our local community. Every donation, raffle ticket, auction bid and cheer from the sidelines will make a difference.

Just two days to go until our teams take to the pitch to show off their footballing skills… some more than others! ⚽😄

They’ll be counting on your support, cheers, laughter, and encouragement to help them through every game as they aim to reach their £5,000 fundraising target.

On Sunday:

• Bacon butties and drinks will be available to purchase — what better way to start the morning?
• Parking is limited, so if you’re able to walk or car share, we’d really appreciate it.

⚽ ONE WEEK TO GO! ⚽

On Sunday 19 July, coaches from Perrywood Sports FC, Horley United FC and Horley Town Youth will unite for a special charity football event to help 8-year-old Olivia and her family.

Olivia is bravely fighting one of the rarest and most devastating childhood brain tumours. We're aiming to raise £5,000 towards the £60,000 needed to access potentially life-changing clinical trials overseas. Every pound raised brings hope—not just for Olivia, but for future children facing this cruel disease.

💙 Join us for a brilliant morning of football, an amazing auction and raffle, and the chance to make a real difference. We'll be revealing some fantastic prizes throughout the week, so keep an eye on this page!
