As we celebrate National Volunteers’ Week, we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who gives their time to support Slazenger Hockey Club Juniors. 💚🏑

From our team managers, coaches, umpires, and junior leaders, to the parents who help behind the scenes with team admin, match reports, lifts, refreshments, and so much more – your contribution makes an incredible difference.

Our junior section thrives because of the dedication, enthusiasm, and generosity of so many volunteers. You help create the welcoming, family-friendly environment that makes our club such a special place for young players to learn, develop, and enjoy their hockey.

Quite simply, we wouldn’t be the fantastic club we are without you.

Thank you for everything you do, not just this week, but throughout the year.

We’ll be at Horbury Show again this year running a “Have a go at hockey” area so if you are free pop down! Any donations will be going to Wakefield Hospice 💚

It’s free entry to the show with many great stalls, rides and entertainment! ☀️
