The club are on the lookout for 1️⃣6️⃣ businesses to sponsor our holes for the annual golf day at Low Laithes Golf Club on Friday 10th July.

Each hole is just £25 to sponsor. Your business logo/ name will appear on social media throughout July in any golf related posts. If you have a pop up banner, we can also place these at the beginning of your sponsored hole for further exposure on the day.

Great value, whilst maximising the golf day, supporting the club.

HORBURY TOWN U6’s

In the energy zapping heat Town U6’s showed incredible enthusiasm, energy and determination throughout the morning at this weekends gala.

There were plenty of goals scored, some brilliant individual skills on display and lots of exciting moments for players, parents and coaches to enjoy.

Most importantly, every child played with a smile on their face and embraced the opportunity to test themselves against new teams. The confidence, teamwork and enjoyment shown by the squad highlighted exactly what grassroots football is all about.

The players absolutely love the new 3v3 format, which encourages more touches on the ball, greater involvement and plenty of opportunities to develop their skills. The progress already being made is exciting to see, and the future looks very bright for this talented group.

A huge thank you to Shelf Juniors for hosting a well-organised gala and to all the parents and supporters for their fantastic encouragement throughout the morning.

The Horbury Town U6s can’t wait to get started next season and continue their football journey together! 🔴⚫️

Horbury Town U10’s

Runners up at Ossett town gala today and boy did they do well!

In a year group that had no skill levels with everyone pitted against each other in an FA Cup style draw we really held our own.

Coach Daniel Cooper had this to say “We honestly deserved to be in the final but I would say the better team won on this occasion.
I’m really proud of the players of how they really got stuck in and played with a sense of belief. It’s a group that is coming together nicely and I can’t wait for the new season to start.”

7 games played 3 wins 2 draws 2 losses.

STREET FAYRE READY 💪🏼

Any member wishing to stand for election to the committee should notify the Club Secretary in writing no later than 7 days before the AGM. Anything after that will not be accepted.

Horbury Town Gems Shine at Their First Summer Gala

Horbury Town Gems attended their first gala of the summer today, taking on a number of well-established teams from the Girls League.

The girls were absolutely fantastic throughout the day, showing real determination, commitment and teamwork in every game they played. They competed brilliantly, finishing a very respectable 3rd place in their group and narrowly missing out on a place in the semi-finals.

For a team at the very start of their journey, their attitude and effort were outstanding. Every single player represented Horbury Town with pride, and everyone at the club is incredibly proud of them.

We are really excited to watch this group continue to grow and develop over the summer as they prepare to join the league for the very first time next season.

Well done, Gems — a brilliant start! 💎🔴⚫️👏🏼
