Last weekend saw the Gents section play the Ella May Salver medal competition.
In blustery conditions, Andy Taggart shot an amazing 75 gross to win!

Congratulations to the Ladies section team who won their first round match of the Morrice Foursomes Sussex team event.
Our ladies beat Crowborough Beacon 2-1 with our only loss being on the last putt on the last green.
Well done ladies and good luck in the next round.

Congratulations to Woody Thomsen who scored a Hole in One whilst trying out our new Rapsodo tech bay.
Playing on Pebble Creek GC in South Carolina he sent his 127 yard tee shot straight into the hole!
In the next few weeks we will be hosting a Nearest the Pin competition to win some free beer from the bar and prizes from the golf shop so watch this space for more info and dates.

The Rapsodo machines are here!
This week saw us have 2 Rapsodo launch monitors fitted on the range at Horam Park.
These give you club and ball data,swing speed, angle of swing plus much much more. They also allow you to work on your distance control with the practice range mode where there are 70 different targets to aim at.
Golf course play is being installed next week.
Some recent comments from users are:
“This does way more than an indoor simulator…I love it”
“To be able to watch your swing and impact is unreal”
“How cool is this….to watch your ball go down the range and have all the data too is incredible”
We will introduce a booking system once everything is installed on the monitors but why not pop in to see what’s going on at the Horam Park range.

Exciting news………
Rapsodo Range Technology is coming to Horam Park Golf Club!
We are having 2 “Tech” bays installed on our Driving Range.
This technology allows you to play over 30,000 courses from the comfort of the driving range plus track your data on every shot.
11 metrics are measured and include club and ball speed, carry and total distances, launch angle, shot type but not only that but you can watch an instant video replay of your shot plus a super slow motion video of your club impact.
This technology is some of the best in the world and will enhance your range experience whether it’s competing against your friends around a famous or local course or a personal practice session improving your numbers.

Unfortunately due to uk power networks doing tree work around electric pylons in the area tomorrow morning we won’t have any power between 9am and 11.30 so we will be shut until then. Apologies as this is out of our hands.
