⏰ 7 days to go! Our Crowdfunder closes on Monday 31 August, and the support from our community has been absolutely incredible.

🎉 Recent wins:
• Our latest quiz night raised £91, and the winners generously donated their £20 prize back.
• A massive thank you to Feniton Football Club, who have donated an amazing £1,500 from BBQ sales at their recent tournament.

💛 Totals so far:
• £9,752 raised online
• With offline donations included, our grand total is now just over £42,000

🎉 Bingo Success & Crowdfunder Update! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who joined us for bingo at the weekend - you helped raise an incredible £300! This has now been added to our online Crowdfunder, bringing the current online total to £6,891.

Including offline donations, our grand total raised so far is £39,464.39. Your support continues to amaze us.

We’re down to our final fundraising push for the playing field and we’re going out with a bang! Join us for a lively quiz night on 16th August at 7.30pm, where you can expect an evening of laughs, friendly competition, and community spirit. It’s just £2 per person, with teams of up to six. Rally your brightest friends and come be part of something brilliant. We’d love to see you there!

⏳ The Crowdfunder closes at the end of this month, so if you’ve been thinking about donating, now is the perfect time. Remember: every £1 donated online will be match-funded with £3 by a local company, so your donation goes four times as far.

Crowdfunder - Update 8

What a week — and what a community we have!

A few fundraising highlights to share:
• The donated keg of Carlsberg went down an absolute storm and raised £264.
• Our quiz night brought in £111, and the joint winning teams very kindly donated their share of the winnings straight back to the club.
• A huge thank you to Feniton Youth Football Club, who raised an amazing £850 at their recent presentation event.

All together, these efforts mean our current balance now stands at £38,541.61 — every bit of it helping us move closer to securing the future of the club and the land.

💙 Crowdfunder Update 8 💙

It’s been a little while since our last update, but trust us - it's been worth the wait!

Friday’s BBQ was sizzling and raised £198 - Thank you to Mike and Susan for donating the food and to Mark for cooking! The celebrations kept rolling thanks to Andy, who marked his 70th birthday at the Sports & Social Club and raised another £95 for our crowdfunder. Happy Birthday, Andy - and thank you!

All together, our total raised to date has now reached £37,319.18!
And here’s the exciting bit: we’re still in the window for the amazing £3‑for‑£1 fund‑matching offer from a local company. That means every £1 donated through the Crowdfunder becomes £4 for our project.

Let’s make the most of this incredible boost while we can!

💙 Crowdfunder Update 7 💛
Thanks to the incredible offer from a local company to match every £1 donated online with £3, we’ve extended our Crowdfunder deadline to the end of August. This gives us the best possible chance to make the most of this amazing opportunity.

Including offline fundraising, our running total now stands at £33,297. The support so far has been amazing, and every donation — big or small — is helping us protect the future of the playing field.

Let’s keep the momentum going. Together, we can make something really special happen for our village.

🔥 Crowdfunder Update 6 🔥

What a week for our fundraiser.

Friday’s BBQ brought in £280 after costs, and with a couple more donations since our last update, our running total now stands at £31,988.84. Thank you to everyone who came along, donated, cooked, served, or supported — and a special thank you to Hodgepodge, who generously donated his fee back to the fundraiser. That kind gesture really sums up the spirit behind this whole effort.

And now for some incredible news...

A local company has offered to donate £3 for every £1 given via the Crowdfunder site.
That means any online donation will now go four times further — an unbelievable boost for the project.

If you’re planning to donate online, just a quick reminder:
👉 When the Crowdfunder asks for a “tip”, click “Enter custom tip” below the slider bar and type 0 if you prefer not to add one.

We’re still very much accepting offline donations too.
Gift Aid forms (which include our fundraising bank details for BACs payments) are available to pick up from:

We’re keeping the momentum going with a BBQ and live music on Friday 1 May, so please come along, bring friends, and help us push even closer to our target.

🌟 Crowdfunder Update – Post 4 🌟

Easter Bingo Success!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Easter Bingo yesterday evening — together you helped raise an amazing £400 for the playing field fundraiser.

That brilliant boost takes us to 63% of our target, with some Gift Aid still to be claimed, so the true total will climb even higher.

To keep things transparent: most of this progress has come from offline fundraising and donations, which is why the Crowdfunder page itself currently shows around 2%. Every event, every direct gift, every online donation — they all count towards the same goal.

Your support is helping us protect the land beneath our clubhouse and secure the future of sport in Feniton. The community spirit has been incredible.

🌟 Exciting update 3! 🌟
Shortly after we posted last week's update, something incredible happened…
We learned that an astonishingly generous anonymous offline donation had been made — the kind that makes you stop in your tracks, grin like an idiot, and remember our community stretches well beyond the village itself.
Thanks to that kindness, and to every single one of you who’s chipped in, shared the link, or cheered us on, we’ve now reached around 60% of our target. That’s huge. Truly huge!
This milestone deserves celebrating. Together, and working closely with the Feniton Playing Fields Association (the charitable trust that looks after our wider playing fields), we're not just supporting the club - we’re working to secure the land beneath it, protecting the pitches, the green space, and the home of every team and group that relies on this space week in, week out. This is about safeguarding the future of sport and community life in Feniton for generations.
