The 2026 season starts here! Join us this Sunday from 11am–4pm and come see what the craic is about on our first official day back on the water.

Congratulations to HYC member Sam Pearson who finished up first in the RYA Northern Ireland John Minis Youth Champs Regatta Topper fleet this weekend at Ballyholme Yacht Club! 🏆

Great work by Sam 👏🏼👏🏼 The regatta fleet is designed for sailors attending their first event, or first time outside of their club. It blends coaching with racing. Sam finished 1st out of 12 Toppers. Hopefully this will give Sam the confidence to join the Championship fleet next year where the competition will heat up 🔥

A big weekend for HYC members this weekend as Sophie Cahill and Chris Penney raced at the ILCA Irish National Championships at Ballyholme Yacht Club ⛵️🇮🇪

Sophia finished 49th overall in the ILCA 6 fleet and Chris finished 9th overall in the ILCA 7 fleet winning 3rd Master. Congrats guys! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

HYC members Stephen and Sam Rutherford returned home today from the National One Design World Championships at Leland Yacht Club 🇺🇸 one of the highlights being finishing their regatta with a race win 🥇⛵️

A wonderful experience with fantastic hosts! Plenty of memories made. Stephen and Sam gifted Leland Yacht Club a HYC burgee as a thank you for their hospitality 👏🏼
