Noble Steeds

So, I haven't done a post for a long long time and quite simply it has been because I haven't found the right words to write.
2019 has been incredibly cruel as on the 24th of June we said goodbye to the brightest star at Noble Steeds. Everything we have done over the years was because of this very special soul and showman. Without him there literally is no Noble Steeds, so, I will be closing the page and the door on a magical era.
Today I went on foot, without my team mate, to pay tribute and honour the millions of animals and particularly equines who stood with us through WW1. For the past 4 years Tom has been there to lead the cavalcade and give support to those who followed. He may not have physically been there today but he was certainly with us in spirit. We can't thank Kerry and Janet enough for the effort given to make sure Tom was not forgotten.
I want to thank everyone who has worked with us, the friends we've made along the way and anyone who has supported us. It has been wonderful.

Spent some time with this beautiful girl recently. She is under the care of Horse Sense Wirral. The largest animal sanctuary our area has to offer.
It's always difficult to imagine just how much work goes into running these rescues and having now seen it first hand it makes you realise just how prescious volunteers and funding really is. If you can donate then do, not just money but your time. Even just an hour you can achieve so much.
